So next it was ENGLISH!!
When I went into THAT classroom, the teacher greeted me there, too.
"Hello, miss. I am Mr. Williams. I suppose you're Evelyn Smith, yes?"
"Yes, sir! How are you today?"
"I'm doing just fine. How are you?"
I took a empty seat in the front again.
"I'm doing great, actually. Thank you!" I smiled happily.
"Students, I'll be explaining all kinds of pronouns. First of all, pronoun shifts are when a piece of writing goes from the third person to the second quickly with no purpose."
He clears his throat as he crosses his arms.
"When pronouns shift suddenly for no purpose, that is a pronoun shift. If it goes from 'your' to 'her' that's an issue. It's a common mistake between young writers. That's why it's important to learn."
I actually already knew pronoun shifts because I LOVE reading!!
I've written my OWN books and I see this issue in my work way too much to admit. :)
Wait, Mr. Williams is passing the paper again to everyone, one second!!!
