In thought, I grabbed at the telephone, when my eyes cut to a blond boy running to me.

"Hey, wait!!"

wait what ??!

In embarrassment, I forced my hand AWAY from the telephone as my face burnt up.

"Hii!!" I giggled.

WAS I FINALLY ABOUT TO BE BLESSED FROM GOD HIMSELF WITH A FRIEND?!?! :)

"Hello, I'm Alex. What about you? You look familiar." He mumbled softly as he sat down with me.

"..I'm Evelyn. Honestly, you look pretty fa, iliar too..!"

His eyes suddenly gazed into my soul, making me squirm.

"You were about to get the telephone. You were pretty down."

I cringed.

"Oh yeah, I just felt lonely."

"Oh. I'm sorry about that."

"Thank you. Do you have any friends??" I smiled, feeling confused with my emotions.

Genuinely, I know a lot of kids deny this just like I do, but I don't! I've only known the guy for MAYBE 2 minutes.

Once the sun set and it was time to go to sleep, I made my bed and just thought about a lot.

As I stared at the ceiling, I realized my life would be so different now.
