Speeding to the entrance, I rushed through the doors outside, panting.
Feeling the cool breeze rush through my hair, I gazed around at a white, cloudy sky.
uhh...where is mom?? :)
I spotted a car that looked like our car until it quickly began driving out and going to me at the entrance.
YAY!!! :)
The window rolled down to reveal mom!!
"Hello, Evelyn! Get in the car."
"Alright!!" Pulling open the car door, I sat in the right backseat and shut it.
"So, how was your first day?"
I buckled in and crossed my arms happily.
"It went amazing!! ..." My mind went blank.
what ?? what happened at school again??
"Evelyn..??" Mom glanced at me in confusion before turning back to the road.
Memories flooded back.
"Oh yeah!! I really liked ALL of the classes, but english and art were my favorites!!"
"Excellent. Did you see Alex there? I'm assuming his mother didn't follow me there, too..?"
YES. WAIT NO.
I giggled uncontrollably. It's like I couldn't stop.
"No, mom! Of course not."
"..alright..?" She muttered skeptically. probably 'cause of the giggling.. :)
OH MY GOSH THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!
"Well, have you made any friends yet like you want?"
"Uhh...not really. I DID meet this girl, though. She was pretty shy and quiet, but she helped me open my locker!"
I heard a slight giggle from mom. "Did you not know how to open your locker??! I literally gave you the code!"
Smiling sheepishly, I replied, "I didn't know how to enter it and stuff!" And rested against the car door.
"I think I forgot to give you the tutorial note thing. It's alright. Was that girl really nice?"
"Definitely! She had long, dark hair and brown eyes. Very sweet!"
