Anyway, by now it's around...6:46 am!!
The classes start at 8:00, so I have about an hour minutes until I have to go. :)
I'm planning to just walk there, but my mom INISISTS I'll DIE if I walk.
So she's driving me.
Honestly, I'm fine with it! I just hope she makes those pancakes she made yesterday.
So I'd brushed my hair, put shirt/shorts/socks on, and now I had to..
EAT BREAKFAST!!
I opened my door and went downstairs anxiously.
What if school DIDN'T go well??
Last time I was excited for something, it totally SUCKED!!
I reached the dinner table and sat down.
My mom was at the stove, cooking..
*sniff sniff*
SCRAMBLED EGGS !!!!
Okay! I don't mind this! :)
We can't have pancakes everyday anyway..
"Hey, mom. Good morning!! I see you're cooking eggs?"
Mom looks behind her.
"Good morning! Yes, I am. Do you have any questions for your first day of school?"
...uh..
"Well.. ..I guess I'm kind of nervous. My main goal for this is to find friends!"
"..and..??" Our eyes locked.
"OF COURSE TO WORK HARD..!!! I'll totally make sure I focus, too!!"
HAHA I ALMOST FORGOT SORRY MOM HAHA
"Good." She turned back to the pan on the stove.
I stared at the clock eagerly, watching it tick.
It was now around 6:56 am..
I had about 60 minutes!! :)
About 3 minutes later, mom placed the plates and stuff on the table.
She sat down with me and took a bite first.
"..not bad. I actually used a little more pepper this time."
OH NO
OH WAIT YOU DON'T KNOW THIS OKAY
SO I HAVE A SUPER LOW SPICE TOLERANCE.
SO I'M A LITTLE ANXIOUS I WON'T LIKE THESE EGGS..
"Oh!" She giggled. "I just added pepper to mine by the way. Be plain."
OH OKAY THANK GOODNESS :)
"Oh, thanks! I'm SO plain when it comes to food."
"I know."
As we ate in silence, I stared at the clock impatiently.
It ticked closer and closer to 7:30 am..
