Tony:

The silence in the dim warehouse buzzed with menace, every beat of Tony's heart a loud reminder of his own helplessness. He was handcuffed to a chair, stripped of his armor, watching as Y/N hung from chains on the other side of the room. She was bruised and bloody, her arms bearing the tell-tale burn marks from electrodes. His mind spiraled, racing to calculate a way out while the knot of rage and fear only grew tighter in his chest.

The man responsible, a former tech specialist at Stark Industries gone rogue, smirked at Tony. "Hurts, doesn't it?" he sneered, casually waving the small remote that controlled the current to Y/N's chains. "Watching someone else pay for your mistakes?"

Tony's jaw clenched, eyes narrowing as he glared at the man. "Let her go, you spineless piece of—"

The man laughed, his gaze drifting over to Y/N. "Oh, don't worry, I'm not done with her yet. This is just the warm-up." He clicked the remote, and Y/N's body jerked as another electric jolt surged through her.

Tony's heart sank as he watched her fight against the pain, her teeth clenched and tears gathering at the corners of her eyes. She lifted her head slightly, meeting Tony's gaze with a look that broke his heart. She was trying to tell him it was okay, trying to reassure him even as she bore the brunt of his enemy's wrath.

"Stay with me, Y/N," he said softly, willing her to hold on. "I'm here. I'm going to get us out of this."

His words were met with another round of laughter from their captor. "Promises, promises, Stark. But where's the Iron Man now?" The man's fingers tightened around the remote, his lips curling into a smirk. "Stripped of your toys, what do you have left?"

Tony glared, grinding his teeth as he ran through every escape scenario he could think of. He didn't have much to work with, but he was Tony Stark, and he would be damned if he let this lunatic hurt her any longer. He twisted his wrists in the cuffs, feeling them loosen just enough. He needed to keep the man talking, distract him.

"Real big of you to go after her instead of me," Tony sneered, pouring as much disdain into his voice as he could manage. "You're pathetic. At least face me, if you think you can."

The man's eyes flared with irritation, his bravado faltering just slightly. He took a step closer to Tony, sneering. "Still so arrogant, Stark. Let's see how cocky you are when she's dead because of you."

Tony's heart lurched as the man raised the remote again, but he was ready. With one swift movement, Tony ripped free of his cuffs, lunging forward and tackling the man to the ground. The remote went flying across the room as they grappled, each strike fueled by Tony's anger and desperation.

Y/N was slumped in her chains, her breaths shallow but steady. Tony's chest tightened as he fought the man with everything he had, fueled by the sheer need to get to her. In a final move, Tony landed a punch that knocked the man unconscious, leaving him sprawled on the floor.

Panting, Tony scrambled to his feet and rushed over to Y/N, hands shaking as he unlatched the chains and pulled her into his arms. "Y/N," he murmured, brushing the hair back from her face, his eyes filled with regret. "I'm so sorry, sweetheart. I should've been faster."

Y/N's eyes fluttered open, a faint smile playing on her lips as she looked up at him. "You made it just in time, Stark," she whispered, her voice weak but steady.

Tony's chest tightened at her resilience, the softness of her gaze despite the pain she'd endured. "I'm never letting anything like this happen again," he promised, his voice thick with emotion. "No one will ever touch you again."

Steve:

The air was thick with tension, the scent of damp concrete and stale fear pressing down on Steve as he stood chained to the wall, forced to watch as Y/N sat, bound and battered, in the middle of the room. Her face bore fresh bruises, her wrists were raw from the restraints, and yet, through it all, she lifted her head to give him a small, steady smile. It was her way of telling him to stay strong, and it broke his heart.
