The screens lit up in every household, bar, and waiting room across the globe. Reporters stood outside the towering courthouse in New York City, a fortress-like structure now surrounded by barricades, armed guards, and a seething sea of protesters. The entire world put everything aside, even the recent vanishing of objects, to watch this trial unfold.
Throughout the week, breaking news tickers scrolled ominous updates about the mysterious disappearances that had plagued cities over the last couple of days. From priceless artifacts to everyday tools, the growing list of missing objects baffled the brightest minds on Earth. The world became aware very quickly, as the rapid vanishing of objects were picking up pace, making a lot of people, including the government, nervous. Many controversies sprouted about this trial continuing amidst a possible global crisis.
From helicopters, the live feed captured the chaos below: thousands of signs swayed in the crowd, reading everything from "No Redemption for Murderers" to "Burn the Witch!" The shouts of protesters-both for and against her, most against her, rose like a thunderstorm.

The scene outside the courtroom was a boiling storm of protesters, journalists, and onlookers surging against police barricades, their voices were crashing like waves against the towering walls of the courthouse.
