Peter stepped into the kitchen, rubbing sleep from his eyes. “What’s all this about a laser maze?”
“Morning, sleepyhead!” Tony called out, grinning. “We’re planning today’s big event—Operation: Epic Fun. You’re just in time to lend your genius.”
“Genius?” Peter replied, feigning modesty as he poured himself a cup of coffee. “I prefer the term ‘web-slinger extraordinaire.’”
“Of course you do,” Steve chuckled, shaking his head. “But seriously, we need your input on how to set it up. Morgan’s been tossing ideas around too.”
“Speaking of which, where is she?” Tony asked, glancing toward the staircase.
“Still snoozing, I think. I’ll go wake her up,” Peter said, finishing his coffee before heading back upstairs.

He found Morgan still curled up under her blankets, looking peaceful and unaware of the world around her. Peter knelt beside her bed, gently nudging her shoulder. “Wake up, sleepyhead! Time for the big day!”
“Mmm, just five more minutes…” she murmured, burying her face deeper into the pillow.
