The storm outside intensified, thunder rumbling in the distance as Tony, Peter, Morgan, and MJ huddled together in the Tower’s living room. The flickering lights and the sound of rain against the windows created an atmosphere that felt both cozy and charged with uncertainty.
“Do you think pops’s going to be okay?” Morgan asked, her voice barely above a whisper. She was curled up against Peter, who had his arm protectively around her shoulder.
“He’s tough,” Peter reassured her, though a shadow of concern crossed his face. “He’s been through worse. We all have.” He shot a quick glance at Tony, whose expression had turned serious.
Tony sighed, running a hand through his hair. “I’m not worried about Steve’s strength. I’m worried about how he’s going to handle the aftermath of this mission. He’s always trying to be the strong one.”
MJ, who had been sitting quietly beside them, reached for Morgan’s hand. “He’s not alone in this. We’re all here for him, and he knows that.”
Morgan nodded, her spirit lifted by MJ’s words. “Right! He’s Captain America. He fights for everyone. We need to fight for him now.”
“Exactly,” Tony said, his determination returning. “We’ll take care of him, just like he takes care of all of us.”

The Hospital
After a quick discussion, they decided to visit Steve in the hospital, where he was recovering from his injuries. The rain continued to patter against the glass, but inside, a warm glow surrounded them as they entered the room.
Steve lay in the hospital bed, his usually vibrant blue eyes looking weary but focused. The sight of him bandaged and bruised struck a chord of sadness in all their hearts.
“Hey, Cap,” Tony said softly, stepping forward with the others.
Steve turned his head slightly, a faint smile breaking through his exhaustion. “Hey, guys. What are you doing here?”
“Just checking in on our favorite super soldier,” Peter replied, trying to lighten the mood. “How are you holding up?”
“Like a truck hit me, but I’ll survive,” Steve said, attempting to joke but wincing slightly as he shifted in bed.
“Let me get you some ice water,” MJ offered, sensing that he needed something refreshing. She walked over to the pitcher on the bedside table, pouring a glass and bringing it back to him.
“Thanks, MJ,” Steve said gratefully, taking a sip.
Morgan stepped closer, her eyes wide with concern. “You scared us, you know. You’re supposed to be invincible!”
Steve chuckled lightly, the sound softening the atmosphere. “I wish I could say I was, but I’m human, just like everyone else.”
“Exactly!” Tony chimed in, crossing his arms. “And that means you need to let us take care of you for a change.”
Steve looked at them, his expression a mixture of appreciation and stubbornness. “I can’t be a burden, guys. You’ve all been through a lot.”
“Listen, you’re never a burden,” MJ said, her voice firm but caring. “You’ve always been there for us, and now it’s our turn to be there for you.”

Nurturing Care
The room filled with laughter as they joked about Steve’s notorious love for hospital food. Morgan suggested ordering in some of his favorite meals, while Peter offered to sneak in a dessert that was definitely not on the hospital’s approved list.
