As the dust settled from their narrow escape, the group gathered in a safe clearing away from the warehouse. Tony knelt beside Morgan, checking her vitals while Steve supported her head. Bucky and Clint remained alert, scanning their surroundings for any signs of Hydra's return.

Peter stood a few steps back, still holding Morgan's hand, his mind racing with thoughts. He couldn't shake the image of her under Hydra's control, her eyes devoid of the spark he knew so well. But alongside the worry gnawing at him, a different concern began to surface—the rumors that had started swirling around school.

“Dad,” Peter finally said, his voice a mixture of urgency and frustration, “there’s something else we need to talk about.”

Tony looked up, concern etched on his face. “What is it, Peter? Is it about Morgan?”

“No, it’s about the rumors… the ones about MJ and me,” Peter said, glancing around to make sure they had a moment of privacy. “People at school are saying we’re married.”

Tony raised an eyebrow, his expression shifting from worry to bemusement. “Married? At your age? How did that even start?”

“I don’t know!” Peter exclaimed, running a hand through his hair. “It’s just… one person said it, and then it spread like wildfire. Now everyone’s looking at us differently—like we’re some kind of couple or something.”

Clint chuckled, but Bucky shot him a look. “It’s not funny, Clint. This is serious.”

“I’m just saying, it’s not exactly a bad rumor,” Clint teased. “I mean, it could work in your favor. You and MJ make a cute couple.”

Peter frowned. “It’s not like that! MJ and I are married, but we’re still figuring things out, and this is… well, it’s overwhelming.”

Morgan stirred slightly, her eyes fluttering open as she began to regain some strength. “Peter?” she mumbled, her voice weak.

“Hey, you’re okay,” Peter reassured her gently, brushing a strand of hair from her face. “We’re all here.”

“Did you tell him?” Morgan asked, her voice hoarse.

“Tell him what?” Tony pressed, looking between Peter and Morgan.

“The truth about the rumors,” Morgan said, her expression turning serious. “About you and MJ being married.”

“Yeah, I just told him,” Peter replied, trying to keep his tone calm. “But it’s not just a rumor, Morgan. We are married.”

“I know,” Morgan said softly, squeezing his hand. “But what if it’s not just a rumor? What if they see you together and think it’s true?”

Tony stood up, folding his arms across his chest as he processed the information. “We need to address this head-on. If the rumors are spreading, it could lead to complications—especially if someone decides to use it against you two.”

“Like how?” Peter asked, anxiety creeping into his voice.

“People can be cruel, especially in school,” Tony explained. “They might start teasing you or, worse, trying to drive a wedge between you and MJ. We can’t let that happen.”

“Maybe we should talk to MJ,” Morgan suggested, her voice gaining strength. “She needs to know what’s going on, too.”

“Right,” Peter agreed, feeling a sense of urgency. “I’ll call her and Harley. We need to figure this out together.”

“F.R.I.D.A.Y., can you contact MJ and Harley for us?” Tony asked, his expression shifting back to the task at hand.

“Connecting now, Mr. Stark,” F.R.I.D.A.Y. replied promptly.
