The next morning, the sun filtered through the curtains, casting a soft glow in Peter and Morgan’s shared room. Peter lay sprawled across his bed, still groggy from sleep, while Morgan was perched on the edge of her own bed, scrolling through her phone.
“Hey, sleepyhead,” she teased, glancing at him with a smirk. “You planning to sleep the day away?”
Peter groaned, burying his face in his pillow. “Just five more minutes, please.”
Morgan rolled her eyes but then got an idea. “Okay, how about this: if you get up, I’ll help you plan a date with MJ. You know, a nice evening out—just the two of you.”
Peter’s head shot up, his eyes wide. “A date? We’ve been married for a while now. Do we really need to plan a date?”
“Absolutely!” Morgan insisted, her voice bubbling with excitement. “You can’t just let your marriage become routine. You need to keep the spark alive, you know? Besides, I’m pretty sure MJ would love it.”
Peter pondered for a moment, considering Morgan’s words. He loved MJ more than anything, but the pressures of being an Avenger often overshadowed their personal time together. “What do you suggest?” he asked, half-heartedly.
Morgan jumped off her bed, suddenly energized. “How about a picnic at Central Park? You could pack her favorite food, and I could even help you pick out a spot. It’ll be perfect!”
Peter chuckled, “A picnic? Really? I mean, isn’t that a little... cliché?”
Morgan frowned playfully. “Cliché can be charming! Plus, you’re Spider-Man! You could even swing her there, make it extra special!”
Peter considered the idea. Swinging through the city with MJ could be thrilling. “Okay, maybe that does sound fun,” he admitted, finally pushing himself up. “But I need your help. I don’t want to mess this up.”
“Don’t worry, big brother! I’ve got your back,” Morgan said, her excitement infectious. “Let’s get started!”

After a quick breakfast, Peter and Morgan headed to the kitchen, where the atmosphere was bustling with activity. MJ was chatting with Tony and Steve, who were discussing their plans for the upcoming mission.
“Morning, you two!” MJ greeted, her eyes sparkling as she noticed Peter. “How did you sleep?”
“Like a rock,” Peter replied, giving her a shy smile. “Morgan and I were just brainstorming some ideas for today.”
“Brainstorming, huh? Sounds intriguing,” MJ said, raising an eyebrow.
Morgan shot her brother a knowing look, urging him to take the plunge. “Yeah! Peter was thinking of doing something special today. You know, a little adventure!”
“Adventure?” MJ echoed, her interest piqued. “What do you have in mind?”
Peter hesitated, the weight of Morgan’s expectations suddenly feeling heavy. “Well, um... I thought maybe we could go to Central Park and have a picnic?”
MJ’s eyes lit up with delight. “A picnic sounds wonderful! I’d love that!”
Morgan beamed, satisfied that her plan was working. “See? It’s going to be great! You two need some time together, and what better way than under the sun?”
“Exactly!” Peter chimed in, feeling a rush of relief. “I’ll pack your favorites, and we can swing there. It’ll be a date to remember.”
MJ grinned, her happiness contagious. “You really don’t have to pack anything fancy. Just being with you is enough.”
