"Morning!" Gen chirped as she waltzed into the house carrying about five loads of laundry.

"Morning!" Her mother smiled at her daughter while she sat at the drinking coffee and clipping coupons.

Looking over Lorelai's shoulder the girl smiled. "Any good deals? I need a new pair of running shoes so let me know if you can find a two for one deal."

"You are your mother's daughter." Lorelai raised an eyebrow at Rory who also walked in with a full load of laundry. "Hey, how would you feel if I started clipping coupons?"

"Horrified." Rory answered as she set down her bags of clothes that needed to be washed.

Gen had begrudgingly made up with her sister and mother after having a talk with Bailey the morning after Lindsey's wedding.

Rory had apologized as well, saying that it hadn't been fair of her to make Dean's invite more than just a friendly gesture.

It was now the middle of October and the twins' birthday had come and gone as well. Bailey had thrown a small party for Gen and Rory. They had played pin the hat on Gen and Rory, sipped on mocktails, and ate a cake in the shape of a Yale bulldog.

They ended up having two more birthday dinners. One with Emily and Richard and one with the town of Star's Hallow. Gen had gone to the bridge/lake they had in town, lit a cigarette, flipped a rock, and made a wish for her last year as a teenager.

The girl had received a new pair of running socks from Lorelai and Yale engraved shorts with her initials, she got a new book from Rory about women in STEM, a pair of sunglasses and some nail polish from Bailey, and Stephanie and Rosemary had joined together to get Gen a joint gift. The pair had snuck off to New York, getting her the most exquisite pair of baby pink heels that had an open toe and a bow on the back. Richard and Emily had also gotten the girl more Yale merch including a navy colored 'Y' for her charm bracelet.

She had come home from Friday night dinner to a card with the name 'Belle' and a singular rose. The girl immediately knew who it was from. She placed the card in a bucket with the other one she had received in May.

Truth be told, Gen didn't know what Logan was doing or where he was. He never answered any of her letters she had mailed out or returned any of her emails, however, thinking that he could just write a letter on her birthday and win her over was just tacky and poor judgement on his end.

She didn't know that when they would meet again whether to kick him or kiss him for his actions.

Who knows if she would ever see him again, either.

The Gilmore twins walked to the town meeting Saturday night that Taylor Doose would hold in Miss Patty's dance studio. He had announced during his break between the ice cream shop and his grocery store that there was a very important announcement and everyone in the town of Stars Hallow should attend the meeting.

Lorelai had gotten there early and saved three seats. Lane would be joining them later after her band practice. She was currently in the process of find a new guitarist.

Lane and Dave were still going strong. The two would write, email, and talk on the phone every night. Dave had decided that at the end of his freshman year in California he would be trying to transfer to a college closer to Lane and New York had many different university's that worked with his major. The boy hoped to own a record label one day while playing gigs on the side.

The town meeting had gone smoothly. Taylor had announced that they would be hosting the Festival of Living Art for the first time in a while. Gen remembered being a part of one of the background characters in a portrait while Lorelai made costumes. That was when she was ten.
