Part 8 Chapter 35 Intermezzo

Mu Empire, Otenheit
La Mu's office

La Mu, who was holding a meeting about the progress of the war with Gra Valkas. He was increasingly pleased to hear about the results that the Mu Empire forces had achieved during the war. "What is our attitude regarding this incident? Our hands are already full in the war with Gra Valkas." The foreign minister spoke.

"That's right, it is very difficult for us to open another armed front other than with Gra Valkas. The amount of military hardware we have is still too small to do that." An admiral spoke.

"Perhaps we can wait for the reaction of the HME and Myto Empire. If they declare war, then we will declare war. However, we will send a letter to both HME and Myto Empire saying that we cannot actively participate in the battle," said La Mu.

"Good thinking, they will surely understand that we are still in a battle with Gra Valkas," said the prime minister.

"Alright, just prepare everything according to that plan," said La Mu.

Before anyone could reply, suddenly another member of La Mu's staff came in and handed La Mu a file of documents. For a while, La Mu read the document.

"Myto Empire and HME issued a joint statement in which they demanded an apology and the elimination of the Annonrial Empire's core magic. If not then within 48 hours, then they will consider that the Annonrial Empire has declared war on them." La Mu said.

"It happened faster than I expected. Then we still carry out our plan?" asked the foreign minister.

"That's right, we're sticking to it." said La Mu as he handed the document he was holding back to the prime minister.

"Yes, your highness," said the foreign minister.

"It appears that the Palpadia Empire will hold a celebration honoring the victims of the Annonrial Empire's attack. We have not received an invitation yet. But from this report, there are rumors that Moff Trevat will come to the Palpadia Empire. While HME will send one of her ministers." The prime minister spoke.
