Part 8 Chapter 38 Myto Empire Attack

Bushpaka Latan, Annonrial Empire

Bushpaka Latan was a small island that was mostly a city area with no fortifications. The city is similar to the capital of the Palpadia empire, but with much wider streets, very clean, and a slightly higher level of technological magic. If you were there, you'd feel like you're in a 1700s European theme park. The difference lies in the increased use of magic. Around the city there are several military bases for land, sea, and air forces. The navy still used sailing ships with magic cannons. The air force still used wyverns, and the army partly used muskets, the rest still used swords and spears, although all of them could use magic.

Bushpaka Latan is also a trading city, with many merchants from other countries. However, following the ultimatum issued by HME, Mu Empire, and Myto Empire, the foreign merchants in Bushpaka Latan immediately left the city. Currently, almost no foreigners are present.

It was already nighttime, but the sky was still red with light.

Suddenly, an air raid alarm wailed throughout the city. Wyverns began to take off from the airfields around the city, and from a hidden airfield, a number of aircraft similar to the alpha fighters from HME also took off. All of them then flew towards the ocean.

"Scans show most of them are wyverns. They are not equal to us. But I also discovered a number of aircraft with jet systems similar to HMEs that are much more advanced than HMEs. They seem to be able to reach high subsonic speeds." Yellow 2 said.

"Just be careful. Don't let us underestimate them and become their victims." Yellow leader said.

"There are more of them than our missiles. Are we going to have a dogfight?" asked Yellow 6.

"We and the 'brown' squadron will attack the wyvern, the 'yellow' squadron can attack those antique planes." Purple Leader said.

"Alright, we will attack those planes now. All aircraft, arm your AA missiles. Target the enemy planes!" Yellow Leader ordered.

"The number of enemy aircraft is 48. Each airspeeder of our squadron will release 4 missiles at once." Yellow 2 said.

All the pilots of the Yellow Squadron simultaneously answered, 'ready'.

By using the network, the airspeeders of the 'Yellow' squadron could target the enemy without overlapping, so there would be no wasted missiles or multiple missiles chasing one enemy. Furthermore, the missile is integrated into the network, enabling it to utilize sensor data from both other airspeeders and other platforms. In addition, the missile can also transfer some of its computations to computers on the airspeeder or other more powerful places so as to make the computational and AI capabilities of the missile even better.
