Part 7 Chapter 3 1st Day Conference

La Mu's office

The leader of the Mu Empire, La Mu, had just arrived at his office in the morning. But as he entered his office through the special door directly connected to his residence in the palace, there was the sound of a bell, indicating that one of his secretaries wanted to speak to him through the intercom.

"Yes, what is it?" said La Mu through the intercom.

"Sire, the prime minister has been waiting for almost half an hour. He has urgent news to bring!" said his secretary.

"Send him in!" ordered La Mu.

Just an instant after he spoke, the door to La Mu's study was opened quite rudely by the Prime Minister, who entered in a hurry. This caused La Mu to be annoyed.

"What's going on? Why are you in such a hurry?" said La Mu in a rather high tone.

"I apologize, your highness. There is very urgent news. I just received news about an hour ago that Gra Valkas' troops have started moving towards the border in Leifor! The news and the photos were delivered by the Myto Empire." The Prime Minister said.

"Huh, what do they want? Aren't we in the middle of an 11-country conference? They should have waited for the conference to finish and then attacked us. Aren't they afraid of being ganged up on by 10 countries?" La Mu said.

"We don't know what the motivation behind it is. But we must immediately prepare for an attack from the direction of Leifor on the border of the Leifor-Mu Empire, sire." The prime minister said.

"That's right, the matter of why they attacked now will be settled by HME. Order all forces to converge on the border. Currently, how many divisions are prepared?" asked La Mu.

"Still the same as last time, sire. I will immediately order the 4 infantry divisions that are near the border to reinforce the border with the 2 divisions that are already there." The prime minister said

"Move a number of armored cars to assist the border guard divisions. Also, move a number of fighter squadrons, especially F2s, to the border. Can we still do it?" asked La Mu.

"Those four divisions can move to the border in a few hours. Also, fighters elsewhere can be moved in a matter of hours to the several military, civilian, and emergency airfields we've created around the border. But for armored cars, I'm afraid we can't move many units because the distance is too far." The prime minister said.

"That's fine, just concentrate the troops there. If the two field armies successfully penetrate Gra Valkas' defenses in Leifor, we have time to move military assets there from the shock effect. The important thing is that, as you said before, we can achieve air superiority throughout the Leifor-Mu Empire border area.

"Yes, Your Highness. We will do so immediately." The Prime Minister said.

"Do we know when the Gra Valkas attack will take place?" asked La Mu.

"The centralization of their forces will be completed within a few hours. After noon, they will be able to attack." The prime minister said.

"Hurry up, move our troops and military assets." La Mu ordered.

"Yes, sire." Answered the prime minister, who immediately left La Mu's study while half running.

The news obtained from the Myto Empire was quickly given to all relevant parties, including the various orders to start mobilizing the military from the Mu Empire. La Mu silently prayed for the safety of his country in this conflict that was about to break out.
