Part 8 Chapter 30 Battle of Star System K17T

In the evening, at 01:00 midnight

General Armeda and General Femla were currently on watch in the main situation room. They were able to rest a lot during the afternoon and into the night because the Grenda Union ships had finally been detected again, so they were just waiting to see if they would attack the K17T star system or Elysia. They had already detected them several times, and they knew their speed and direction remained constant.

"By now Elysia's outermost early warning should have detected them if they are going to attack Elysia." General Armeda spoke.

"That's right. It's a good thing they're using a superluminal drive system that's more primitive than ours, leaving gravimetric traces in realspace. If they use hyperdrive, well, let's say it will not end well with us." General Femla spoke.

"I heard that the Galactic Empire used to do research on hyperspace tracking. I don't know what happened to that project." General Armeda spoke.

"I don't know, but we also brought copies of all of the databases we could copy from the Galactic Empire. Although the data on that project may exist, it appears to have remained undiscovered or unsearched until now. General Femla spoke.

"I think we'll need to search for that research data in the future. We should be able to detect all starship movements in this galaxy, at least near the planets we control." General Armeda spoke.

"Agreed. It's been over an hour, and we haven't detected any of their ships. Are they not attacking Elysia, but star system K17T?" General Femla glanced at his watch.

"I think we should confirm it." General Armeda spoke.

"Agree. Deploy reconnaissance fighters!" ordered General Femla to the communications officer, who then relayed his communications to the relevant squadrons.

"I hope we have the right assumptions. If not, well, I don't know what will happen." General Femla continued.

"Now we can only wait. Star system K17T does not have an early warning as extensive as Elysia." General Armeda spoke.

"Agree. Notify fleet command of this." General Femla spoke.

"Yes, sir," said the communications officer.

They anxiously awaited the detection results of the dispatched reconassance fighter.

System command ship, Battlestar 'Syerien'
Main Bridge.

All Myto Empire ships in star system K17T are still not in battlestation conditions, as the timing and warnings from both the droids that make up their early warning network and central command are not yet available. Even though the crew was currently all resting, only the skeleton crew manned all ships. Nevertheless, on the main bridge of the battlestar 'Syerien' there was a full crew, as they controlled the entire Myto Empire fleet in star system K17T.
