On top of the hill, the Mu Empire's artillery continuously spewed its bullets without stopping. Most of them were aimed at the city of Akra, where the Gra Valkas troops were gathered. But some were aimed at various points according to the requests of the Mu Empire troops fighting against the Gra Valkas troops. In the air, 1 squadron of F1 aircraft from the Mu Empire also continuously provided support in the form of 12.7mm machine gun fire and FFAR rocket fire. In addition, they provided information about the Gra Valkas troops' movements.

The two armored brigades of Mu Empire 9th Combined Division 9 have attacked, each brigade is supported by an infantry battalion. They attacked the city of Akra but did not enter; they only passed by it. The remaining infantry of the Mu Empire's 9th Combined Division attacked Akra City itself. However, the infantry was supported by armored cars. This caused the few Gra Valkas tanks defending Akra to be quickly annihilated, as their armor plating was unable to withstand the 40mm canon fire from the Mu Empire's armored cars. Meanwhile, combat vehicles, including Gra Valkas' tanks outside Akra, were destroyed by the Mu Empire's tanks, along with infantry troops who used recoilless rifles and RPGs to destroy Gra Valkas' combat vehicles.

The rapid mobility of the Mu Empire troops, aided by their vehicles, rendered the Gra Valkas troops largely immobile. If there is a battle at a point, the Mu Empire easily moves its troops using trucks escorted by armored cars, while the Gra Valkas troops mostly have to walk. This caused each pocket of Gra Valkas troops to fight alone without being able to ask for much help from other elements of Gra Valkas troops.

In addition, Mu Empire infantry troops also carry mortars, which can provide devastating indirect support. Even so, in a direct battle like this, casualties on the Mu Empire's side were inevitable. But the casualties on Gra Valkas' side were much greater. Slowly, one pocket after another of the Gra Valkas army was destroyed by the Mu Empire army.

Finally, in the afternoon hours, at 3 p.m., the Mu Empire infantry reached the outskirts of Akra, while the Mu Empire tank army was already far behind Akra, 10 km away. Effectively, the city of Akra was under siege. Some of the Mu Empire tanks began to turn around to destroy the Gra Valkas positions they had passed through earlier.

The heavy fire from the Gra Valkas troops, coming from the direction of Akra city, forced the Mu Empire troops to halt their advance into the city. They waited for artillery fire, such as heavy artillery fire from a distance or mortar fire, to destroy enemy positions before moving forward. Therefore, their movement to enter the city of Akra was very slow.

In the end, the Mu Empire troops opted to stay on the outskirts of Akra city and not enter it because it was already late in the afternoon, and the city battle at night was not favorable for the Mu Empire troops.

General Lunterm sat inside his command tent that had been set up just an hour earlier. Surrounding the tent, many people were busy building tents to house their various communication devices and living quarters. General Lunterm looked at the situation map spread out on a large table with Major Kartana.

"It seems that the resistance in Akra city is quite strong, huh?" said General Lunterm.

"That's right, general. It is very difficult for us to enter the city of Akra. We can only control the outer part of the city. They've placed their troops in buildings and between ruins. We must liberate the city from house to house, building to building." Major Kartana said.
