Admiral Harlan was looking over the report on the invasion of the Esthirant City military port area when the XO arrived.

"Admiral, we have successfully confirmed the destruction of the Imperial Palace of the Palpadia Empire. From the intelligence, it is likely that Emperor Ludius was still in the Palace when we conducted the orbital bombardment." The XO said.

"Good, at least we can cut off the head of the snake. Now it's just hope our luck will hold to whom will replace Emperor Ludius." Harlan said.

"Hopefully his successor will be more open-minded, so there won't be any more casualties." XO said.

"But if conditions are very unlucky, the replacement will be Ramille. If it's him, we'll have to keep up the orbital bombardment until they fall to their knees." Harlan said.

"I hope whoever is in power now doesn't choose Ramille." The XO said.

"How are the other cities doing?" asked Harlan.

"All the other cities have been taken. Our stormtroopers are starting to land to keep an eye on the civilian population that the dark troopers can't keep an eye on." The XO said "Some task forces have requested additional orbital bombardment because new military targets have been discovered that might be able to attack our troops."

"Postpone all orbital bombardment until the afternoon. We are waiting for Esthirant's reaction to the destruction of their Imperial Palace." Harlan said.

"Yes, admiral," said the XO.

Suddenly, an officer from the communications section walked onto the bridge.

"Admiral, we have a communications request using manacomm! They claim to be the leadership of the Palpadia Empire." The officer said.

"All right, this is what we've been waiting for." Harlan said as he walked towards the communications room with the XO.

Central Communication Room

Admiral Harlan entered the communications room and went to one side of the room where there was a long table like a meeting room. Inside was communications equipment connected to both manacomm, radio, and Holonet. Admiral Harlan and the XO sat at the table and waited for the communications from the manacomm to be connected to the room.

"Admiral, all set." said a communications crewman.

Admiral Harlan then pressed a button on his desk and began to speak, "This is Admiral Harlan, leader of the Myto Empire forces in the Palpadia Empire."

There was a voice that was slightly overwhelmed by static from the speakers.

"This is Elto, the supreme leader of the Palpadia Empire." Said the voice from the speaker.

"Oh, I thought the supreme leader of the Palpadia Empire was Emperor Ludius." Harlan said.

"Emperor Ludius and the entire royal family were killed when your army attacked Castle Paradis." Elto said.

Harlan looked at his XO. Apparently, their orbital bombardment attack was a great success.

"Well, how can I be sure you're the supreme leader of the Palpadia Empire?" asked Harlan.

"Next to me is Alde, the top military leader, as well as the 2nd and 3rd Department Foreign Office. I myself am the head of the 1st Department Foreign Office. They can confirm that." Elto said.
