Part 8 Chapter 31 Battle of Star System Y6T7

Star System Y6T7

Only a sizable number of ships from the Myto Empire were stationed in Star System Y6T& when they discovered the movement of Grenda Union ships approaching. Previously, fleet command was reluctant to place ships there because there were quite a few hidden Grenda Union ships. Ultimately, they placed the Myto Empire ships in the polar orbit of star system Y6T7 to ensure their safety.

The force of the Myto Empire in star system Y6T7 consists of 1 victory class star destroyer 'White Horse' as the flagship there, 8 battlestars, 2 dreadnought class heavy cruisers, 12 Concordat class destroyers, 10 carrack cruisers, 4 CR90 Corvettes, 36 attack cruisers, and 16 Gozanti Class Cruisers. Their force disposition is divided into 3 task forces, with the main force consisting of 'White Horse', 2 dreadnought class cruisers, 2 battlestars, 6 carrack cruisers, and 10 attack cruisers. 2 large task forces each consisting of 3 battlestars, 4 destroyers, 2 CR90 Corvettes, and 10 attack cruisers. The remainder is divided into many small task forces that are used for patrols.

However, they never fully entered the star system's planar orbit because of the danger of ambush. The only ones in planar orbit were the probe droids and a large number of automated fighter drones that served as probe droid escorts and in system patrols. In this way, almost all places in the Y6T7 star system can be monitored indirectly. Furthermore, there are probe droids located outside the star system that serve as early warning.

Victory Star Destroyer 'White Horse'

Victory Star Destroyer 'White Horse' is the flagship of all Myto Empire forces in star system Y6T7 and is currently commanded by rear admiral Harson, who is the deputy chief of the 1st Defense Fleet, admiral Druuna Arkena. 'White Horse' is a ship that originally belonged to the 1st Defense Fleet.
All ships in star system Y6T7 had moved outside the Oort Cloud by now, leaving behind a number of probe droids that emitted signals akin to a departing task force. Three fleets merged all Myto Empire ships, including those used for patrols.

"Admiral, we have information that a battle has broken out in star system K17T. It appears that there won't be any attack on Elysia or our location." The XO spoke.

"Hmm, but according to the orders, we must remain cautious. They know the number of Myto Empire ships here is small, and they can attack us from two directions, both inside and outside the star system. That could end tragically for us," said Admiral Harson.

"But as of now the probe droids we have deployed outside the system have not detected any gravimetric anomalies that are characteristic of their superluminal drive." said the XO.

"Stay sharp. I sense that something is about to happen. Notify all commands to enter the battlestation." Admiral Harson spoke.

Admiral Harson's words came true, as no more than 10 minutes later something happened that they had not expected.
