Chapter 3

Hi thanks for reading! Please follow favorite and review. Sorry it took me so long to update I had a chapter all typed out then for some reason it got deleted and ugh! that was so annoying so I had to redo chapter.

Percy POV

I nod to them all. "Hi."  

"What are you?" Max asks her voice suspicious of me. Should I tell them I am demigod? no. The'll think I'm crazy. 

"Human, or at least last time I checked. Why?" She looks confused.

"You're not a ... a bird hybrid? or an eraser?" Now I am confused.

"Why would I be thing at the end of a pencil?" Did I look like a pink eraser? What exactly did those scientist do to me? Then I remember those scientist earlier mentioning something similar. 

"Not that. Those human wolf things." Says the older looking Nico kid, Fang.

"Uh no, I am not a human wolf thing. Do you know where we are? What they are doing here? Why they want us? Why the kidnapped me?" The questions come flooding out. 

"You don't know anything? They are surprised.

Max's POV 

"What are you?" I ask. I have never seen this guy before. Is he an eraser?He looked at me with his sea green eyes that seemed to be pained. He ran his fingers threw his unruly black hair. 

"Human, or at least last time I checked. Why?" Why would a normal human be here? I doubt that's the truth.

"You're not a ... a bird hybrid? or an eraser?"  He had a funny confused face. I also guess that by his expression he doesn't know what either things are.

 "Why would I be thing at the end of a pencil?" so he doesn't know. Great.

"Not that. Those human wolf things."  Fang explains to Percy.

"Uh no, I am not a human wolf thing. Do you know where we are? What they are doing here? Why they want us? Why the kidnapped me?" So he was kidnapped. Meaning he did live a normal life before this place.

"You don't know anything?" Who exactly is this guy? He says he's human and says he was kidnapped by the white coats. But, don't they just kidnapped babies or are they widening their criteria. He also doesn't know about erasers or us bird kids. Another thing was that his arms were covered in scars or at least the visible parts.

"Nope. All I know is that they forcibly kidnapped me. Tortured and experimented on me . Gave me some weird liquid that made my back hurt. Then threw me in a cage." He says. Wait, they tortured him? What do they want with him he seems like a normal guy other than the fact that the way he talks about torture as if he has gone threw something worse. 

"Wait, they kidnapped you? At what age?" Fang asks obviously confused as well. 

"Uh about two months ago... why? When did you think they kidnapped me?" 

"We were all kidnapped as babies." I explain. Then I decide to continue. "We all escaped when we about 13 thanks to a scientist.  Anyways we got re-kidnapped 2 days ago. We call this place school. Also," I decide to leave the biggest for last. "We have wings." Now he was confused. So, I opened up my wings as much as I could in the dog crate.

"You have wings?" He asks dumbfounded. 

"Ya. We all do," I motion toward the flock. " Have you not heard about us from the news?"

"No sorry, I don't watch the news much plus last summer was uh... busy." He frowns slightly.

"Okay well..," I am interrupted when the doors bang open and two erasers walk in.

Percy's POV

The doors at the end of the room open to revel to men with wolfish grins. They walk over to my cage and pick it up with me in it.So, their strong I go that. 

"Look at the new boy." The slightly taller one says.

 "Hello to you too." I say back. Then they carry me out of the room in silence and too the old room that I woke up in when I first got here.

They strap me down to the table facing down. I hear their footsteps fading away as a new group of them approach. 

"Is subject #10622 ready? Has the subject been given the prep shots?" A voice says. I know that voice it was Baldy one of the scientists.

"Yes subject has been given the prep shots yesterday." Prep shots? Was that those shots they gave me in my back that made me sore.

"Okay starting avian DNA process transfer." Wait what are they doing? I am about to argue when one of them puts a gag in my mouth. I feel someone put their hand on my back then position a needle. 

"3...2...1" Whooosh! he pushes down on the syringe and whatever was in there is now going though my veins. 

"MMMMPRGHHH!" I scream against the gag. The pain is unbearable. It feels like I did a cannon ball into the River Styx.  Thankfully, after a few minutes I pass out from the pain.

Max's POV

The door opens at the end of the room again. We all go quite we were discussing who that guy was and what the school wants with him. In walks only one eraser pushing Percy in his dog crate over here.As he sets him down he walks by our crates and kicks Iggy's then leaves again. I am about to yell at the eraser but a look from Fang stops me. I look toward Percy. His shirt in the back was cut open and we can see his back is covered in scars. What did that to him? Was it the school?

"He looks like he is in pain." Says Fang. I nod my head in agreement.
