New Addition to the Flock

Chapter 10

Hi, Thank you all for reading. Please R&R. I might not be updating as often because school is starting and I'm moving. Sorry I haven't updated in a few days. What did you all think of the whole Percy came back thing?like it? Love it? Hate it? Really want some chocolate?  Any way... to the story.

Percy's POV 

Shortly after introducing the flock members to the camp we make our way to the diner pavilion, because we all are starving, or at least I am. Normally the flock would sit with the Hermes cabin but we all decide to ignore that and they sit with me at the Poseidon table along with Annabeth.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Annabeth," She motions with her thumb towards me. "His girlfriend." 

"Hi." Max nods. "So this is camp, huh?" She says while looking around at the rowdy campers. 

"Yep, we can give you a tour after diner." I scrape a bit of my food in to the fire and for once say "Thank you, Zeus. You know for the whole 'I won't strike you out of the skies and laugh as you fall to your doom, thing'." I hear Annabeth laugh and stick my tongue out at her. Oh gods, is it nice to be back. 

"Blue cherry coke." I say and my glass fills with just that. The flock started at it.

"How does that work?" Nudge lifts her glass to see if there is something on the bottom filling it up. 

"Say what you want and it will fill with any drink." Annabeth explains to the confused and awed flock.

"Red Fanta." Fang says, and as normal it fills up. He takes a sip and smiles. 

"That's something we need." He tells Max.

After that we all eat our food from the wood nymphs and stuff our faces,  I swear I looked like a chipmunk. 

"Percy, chew your food." Annabeth hits my arm and I don't feel pain. Maybe, I should tell her about the fact that I think I got curse of Achilles back. I look at her with food all over my face and lean to kiss her. 

"Ahh don't kiss me you have food all over your face." She laughs and tries to wiggle out of my grip. I have fruit and probably BBQ sauce all over my face as I kiss her cheek smearing it all over her.

"Percy!" She takes a strawberry and throws it at my head. 

"I see how it is." I laugh and grab a ketchup bottle and squeeze it at her. I miss. I was never good with aiming, however I did hit something. That something was a very unhappy Kaytie Garner. 

"Opps." The whole pavilion is silent watching us. 

That is till both the Stolls stand up and yell, "Food Fight!!!" As they chuck all food everywhere.

Time skip ( I have no idea where that came from I did plan on having a very informative and normal chapter then the fire nation attacked, jk maybe I'm just hungry. But, either way camp food fight what do ya think?)

After an hour or so of mad wood nymphs and campers with all sorts of food covering them, everything sort of dies down. We all had cleaned and soon meet at the campfire. 

"Chiron!" I yell as I see my old mentor. He had been on Olympus discussing news with the gods. 

"Percy, my boy! It's good to see you" I walk over to the centaur. 

"And, who might these be?" He asks when the flock follow Percy.

"I'm Max." Max introduces them all.

"Are they demigods?" A few campers had gathered.

"Well..." I'm about to explain what happened when Zeus found us earlier in a cave and said some of them are demigods, when I get interrupted by  something glowing behind me.

I turn and see Nudge in a flowing white dress and a dove above her head, simultaneously Iggy has a sun and lyre above his head and Fang glows a black symbol of Hades's helmet. We all kneel as normal when there is a new demigod or demigods. 

"Presenting Nudge daughter of Aphrodite, Iggy son of Apollo, and Fang son of Hades." Chiron announces to camp. We all rise and I smile at them.

"What just happened?" Nudge squeaks out.

"You were just claimed, hey Chiron, I and Annabeth will give them the tour." 

"It's Annabeth and I, seaweed brain." Annabeth says coming up behind me. Chiron nods and everyone wanders off as we turn back to the slightly confused flock.

"What was all that about? And where did Nudge get a dress?" Max looked frustrated.

"Nudge was claimed as daughter of Aphrodite goddess of love and beauty. That is just something that happens when she claims her kids." My wise girl explains.

"C'mon I'll show you around." I walk past them telling them to follow.

After showing them around camp which over all they thought it was pretty awesome. I showed everyone to their cabin. Max didn't seem to like the fact the they were all split up but, she softened up when she saw how happy Nudge was and that she gets to stay with Angel in the newly expanded Hermes cabin. I walk over to the lake and breath in the sea air. I haven't been here in ages and it felt so nice.

"I knew you would be here" Annabeth says coming up behind me. She sits next to me on the beach. "You know I came here everyday? It reminded me of you?" She was crying. I hug her.

"I'm sorry." I whisper into her hair.

"You know I blamed you? I was furious. Why would you leave me again? But, Your loyal and I know you had to protect your mom." She says calming down ever so slightly. 

"What did they do?" I know she is talking about the scientists.

I can't lie to her. "It was like Tartarus but, I didn't even have you." My voice hitches remembering what they did as well as the Tartarus at the same time. I know it sounds selfish it's just that I missed her and I wanted to know that she was okay.

We are silent for a bit sitting there in each others arms. "Can I see them?" She looks to my back, I smile of course she's curious about my wings. I take off my shirt so not to rip it. She sees the newer scars and looks furious and sad at the same time. I spread my wings. 

She stares at them open mouthed. I wrap them around us and kiss her. I feel her smile on my mouth. I pull away and she smiles before going to my back to see where the wings are coming from.
