New Addition to the Flock

Chapter 13

Max's POV

After talking to Iggy, Gazzy, Nudge, and finding and eating lunch with Angel. I am searching around camp for Fang. It's not that hard to guess which one is the Hades cabin, because it is all dark and depressing. I knock on the door in case anyone is in. 

"What?" A boy about a year younger then Fang open the door. He looks like a younger Fang! 

"Hello?" He waves his hand in front of my eyes. 

"Oh! Uh, Is Fang here?" I get snapped out of my daze.

"No" He closes the door. Great! Thanks so much, I sarcastically think. I knock again determined. He doesn't answer. I knock a third time and the door swings open.

"What!? I am trying to talk to someone!"He doesn't raise his voice but he doesn't have to to convey that he is angry. I look over his shoulder to see A buff Asian guy and a small African American girl with frizzy hair. They seem to be floating in some type of mist... What?! 

"Uh.. D.. Do you know where he could be?" His face turned into one that gave me a 'are you kidding me?' look. 

"No I do not know where your boyfriend is." I blush slightly. 

"Nico! Be nice." The girl yelled. I thought she was some illusion or came from some projector! She is actually there though. 

"Hi! you must be Max. I'm Hazel and this is my boyfriend Frank." She smiles to me.

"How are you..?" I don't know how to describe what I am seeing. How are you in a rainbow? Are you apart of the water? How are you talking? Etc. They all sound weird.

"You haven't seen Iris message yet?" The Asian dude, Frank, asks.  What is Iris message?

"No." I shake my head. Nico, the young Fang, shakes his head in annoyance. 

"Just have someone else explain it to you. Fang is probably at Thalia's tree, he wanted quiet." He sighs and then closes the door. 

Percy's POV

I woke up in some room smelling of disinfectant, so probably still in the hospital. I sit up and realize I was laying on Annabeth's lap. 

"Morning sleepy head." She smiles ans kisses me on the cheek and looks back to her book. 

"Where's Nico and Thalia?" I look around the waiting area that I woke up in and notice their absence.

"Nico went back to camp to tell Hazel and Frank who are stuck at Roman camp about the news. Thalia had to go back to the hunters for a little bit." I nod and slowly get up, stretch, and yawn. 

"What time is it?" I sit back down next to Annabeth. 

"About 5 am." She says while yawning.

"Go to sleep." I kiss her head and she lays down on my shoulder. I am still tired and I too close my eyes to nap.

Time skip, Also sorry for the delay in posting this I had like no time yesterday. I will post my other stories new chapter Monday or Tuesday.

...

"Percy, Wake up!" I feel something squishy hit my face. I shoot up ready for battle and instead see Thalia about to throw another pillow at me.

"What.." I'm still drowsy.

"Come on Kelp Face your mom is up." I see Nico Come out the dark corner and Annabeth still sitting to my left laughing at my confused face.

"Oh! Let's go!" I grab Annabeth's hand and take off down the hallway suddenly really awake.

We reach her door, Thalia and Nico in toe, I slowly open it in case she is still asleep.

"Mom.." I whisper and I see her turn from the window to me and smiles. I notice Paul isn't here, he probably is at school working. 

"Percy!" She smiles but she looks exhausted.

"Annabeth! Nico! Thalia!" She smiles even more. I go over to the side of the bed and hug her. That is the last peaceful moment I have today.

Just then Travis and Conner burst in the room. "Guys! The flock is in trouble, the gods are angry, there is something attacking camp, some scientist is calling for you, and someone ate my peanut butter and jelly sandwich!" Travis is panting from yelling all of this and not bothering to breath.

"What?" Thalia says confused as I am.

Max's POV

After Remembering where Thalia's tree is I make my way there.

"Fang?" I ask as I get near.

I notice movement at the top of the tree, Fang must have gone up there knowing none of the campers would notice him up there. I fly up to him.

"Hey Fang." Woosh! A net flies out and intagles my wings causing me to make a fast fall to the ground. 

"Mrghhh" I try yelling but some rope found it's way into my mouth. 

"Max!" I hear someone yell. A flurry of white and soon I'm sitting on the ground with Angel on top of me. I hear laughter above us and try to motion to Angel to undo the ropes. I look at here and see her unresponsive. Then I see the rock next to her head. she must have Hit her Head and gotten knocked out. Crap! There is more rustling above us. 

I see two figures swoop down to us My eyes grow even blurrier. I feel a prick on my neck and in my last moments of conciseness realize they must have shot me with something.
