Chapter 16

Percy's POV

 It doesn't take as long as I hoped to get to that horrible island. Seeing it again brought on waves of memories. I shudder remembering some of the worst torments. We land on the out skirts of the island behind some trees, to give cover. 

"So, were going in blind? Not to be rude, but not your best plan owl lady." Leo says to Annabeth, who looks a little miffed at 'owl lady'. 

"Well," Annabeth starts. "We don't really have that much info to go on. Percy," She looks pityingly at me. "Do you have any ideas?" I shake my head.

"We didn't get that good of a look at their security, but I know where they kept us before. We can start there." They nod deciding not to ask anymore. I fly up a little above the trees to get an birds eye view. I notice the window we busted out of, and decide that is going to be our way in. " Iggy you carry Leo, Gazzy you and Nico, Nudge you get Thalia, and I'll take Annabeth. We are gonna go in the way we got out. Any questions?" I ask once I fly back down. 

"What do we do after that, Perce? Wing it? hehe get it 'wing it'?" Leo cracks up at his own pun, and I sigh. 

"Ya Unless you guys have a plan past that point?" I look at the others, who look back at me with blank faces. "Guess not then." I say. 

"Well what are we waiting for? Let's re-kidnap some people!" Leo smiles at us. 

Max's POV ( please review also I'm suuuuper bored PM me if you wanna chat)

I have gone numb, emotionally at least. I still feel my aching back and the seemingly constant stream of blood rolling down to puddle at my feet. I no longer cry. I just stare at the wall opposite me, waiting for something. I don't know what that thing is death maybe, perhaps a amazing rescue, but knowing my luck, or lack of, I am leaning more towards the first one. I try not to think about the flock, knowing it won't do any good. That's when I hear it. 

BOOM!

The whole building rocks, shaking me left and right in the chains that hold me to the wall. What is going on? Two men, no not men, two erasers come in. Wow, haven't seen them in a while. They unlock my chains what at a time and place my hands and ankles into new ones. The put on around my neck like a collar and use a chain as a leash. The tug me along, and I growl at them, but they just laugh at my miserable state. I find it hard to walk so they pretty much end up dragging me through the halls leaving a trail of blood and dirt behind. 

The open a door on the left and toss me in. They undo the chain around my neck but, leave the other ones. They then throw me into to a crate. Great. They leave the room and turn off the lights on their way out. I have many questions running through my mind. 1, why did they move me? 2, what was that explosion? 3, why didn't the leave the light on? I close my eyes and hear running out side in the hall. then, yelling and someone shouting. What the hell? What is going on? The alarms blare loud deafening any other sound.

For the first time since the snake boy took my wings, I fight. I fight to stay alive, and to get out of this place. To ditch the school. 

Percy's POV

BOOM!

The world rocks around. I gain my balance and look around and study my surroundings before checking to see if everyone was okay. 

"This way!" Iggy calls running to my left down a  hallway. We all run after him. 

"Where do we go?" Annabeth asks him. 

"I hear Angel! This way!" Iggy explains as we take a left turn. 

"Like in your mind?" Annabeth asks.

"No, she crying out loud she won't answer me in my head." As he says she is crying I run even faster.

"Here!" Iggy yells over the noise of sirens going off, he stops in front of a metal bolted door. I slide the blots open, but we need a key card. I look around about to say so, when Gazzy comes up with a small red bomb. I give him a quick high-five as he sets in on the door we all back up a few feet and it explodes. I hear thundering feet running towards us, we have to hurry. They are getting closer. I pry open the door and send in Gazzy and Nudge to get her.

"Go get her! we will be out here stalling them!" They run in and I turn to face my old captures. three scientists are standing in front of about 10 erasers. 

"Perseus." The bald man in the front says as if addressing a child that just drew on the walls, "What have you done?" They step to the side allowing the erasers at us and then all Hades breaks lose. The Minotaur crashes through the wall on our left. The Minotaur! Why is he here!? He grunts at the scientist as if they were demigods he wanted to kill for once. He notices me and and growls at me too. Seems he wants to kill us both, great! We are at a three way war.  I smile and decide to use a line right out of my younger brother, Tyson's, book. "Peanut Butter!" I yell as I charge forward into battle.
