New Addition to the Flock

Chapter 7

Hi! thanks for reading this chapter will be extra long :) Haha sorry for the last cliffhanger I couldn't help myself :P What do you guys think of the cover art? So I'm going to make this chapter a little longer than usual, because flock is going to camp XD. If any of you guys are whovians, I just rewacthed the weeping angel episode and I'm afraid to blink.... so it's currently 1:43am and I'm typing up this story :P Okay so to the story...

Max's POV

(recap)                                                                                                                                                                                             The eraser flies and catches up to Percy. Percy yells something along the lines of 'Dang it Riptide!'. Percy tries to fly faster than the eraser but it's determined. It catches up. Percy punches it. The eraser punches back. When Percy turns back from being hit the eraser lunges and bites down on Percy's neck.  

"Percy!" I yell flying forward grabbing the eraser's wing twisting it and breaking the bone, the eraser plummets as I fly toward Percy. He stares at me surprised. He looks completely fine, not even a scratch on him. We stare at each other in shock. 

"What just happened?" I'm amazed how does he not even have a scratch on him? He shrugs and we fly back to help the flock.

Time skip

....

We had just gotten away from the last eraser and started flying north again. 

"How did you survive that?" Fang asks Percy, I guess he saw that too.

"I don't know I have an idea though..." He trails off in thought.

"Care to tell the group?" I was tired from the fighting but still curious. but, hey what can you do? Curiosity killed the cat or in this case the bird. 

"I'll explain when we land we should make a pit stop in next land we come to and get some food." The whole flock nods in agreement, we haven't eaten in a while and we need more than most. 

"Mmmmm  foood..." Iggy's stomach growls behind me, I laugh but am feeling the same way.

Percy's POV

We fly over a few island with resorts on them before finally coming down in a small town. 

"Where are we?"Nudge asks, I shrug but Max seems to know.

"Florida, I think." I can't help it I smile. All we have to do is fly north now and then I can see my family. I think of my mom, oh my gods, she's pregnant! She must be farther into her pregnancy, they probably know if it's boy or girl. I'm so excited to see them. Now I realize the flock is looking at me strange.

"What's got you so happy?"Fang inquires, eyebrow raised. 

"I'm just happy to see my mom again." I tell them as we walk up to a small town dinner. We all order our food to which we have no money to pay for but they don't know that. We ordered a ton of food that could have feed the whole camp. We must look weird all of us wearing white outfits that were from the school as well as not having any parents with us.

"So.." Max swallows he food. "What do you 'think' happened?" she says referencing the incident earlier when a eraser almost bit my neck off. 

"Well, " I debate on how to phrase it, I'm not son of Athena so words don't come as easy as I wish they would. "so do you remember when you guys told me about your uh powers, like angel mind reading and Gazzy's awesome voice thing?" They told me after I explained the whole 'The gods are real and I'm a demigod thing'.
