There were just a few hours left until closing.

Three days had passed since the meeting with the man and he had not been heard from.

Hanni continued to believe that he had only been drunk that day and that his courage had worn off that same day.

She noticed that Eunchae was more relaxed than usual since orders were less frequent in the last days of August.

She felt tiredness running through her veins and was happy that a little break could come over her after all this time spent between flowers and orders.

Hanni wondered if she could also be called tired like Eunchae and Danielle.

Hanni normally took orders over the phone and gave information to customers over the phone, but only the other two touched the flowers.  It wasn't something forced, but she realized that it looked better near a phone and a diary, rather than flowers and gloves on her hands.

“I'm dying for winter,” Danielle said as she glued her hands harmoniously together.  It almost seemed like she was longing for a winter snowfall even in the last days of August.

"I've never seen Seoul covered in snow," she said again as she placed hers hands under her chin.  She was lying flat on the counter while Eunchae was laughing at her exaggerated tantrums and sudden speeches.

"When winter comes, so does the cold," Hanni said, closing her diary and placing her hand on her hip as if what she had said was an order.

Danielle stared at her for a while and snorted,

"I prefer the snow and the cold, in the summer it's so hot that I would even like to take off my skin" she said bored by her own words at the mere thought of another summer spent in the heat.

"I agree with you about that, but you have to think about the wonderful things that only exist in summer" said Hanni, raising his finger in a sign of omnipotence.

Danielle watched her again as Eunchae followed Hanni's speech.

"You can only go to the beach in summer. Fresh ice lollies only in summer. Bikinis only in summer. Summer concerts and music, parties in clubs and on the beaches, the bonfire..."

"I understand, you win  " Danielle interrupted, banging her head on the table without wanting to intrude any more on Hanni's speeches, even if Hanni's theory was wrong she would still have won.

The door bell rang and Hanni immediately looked to see who had entered.

It was her again: Kim Minji.

She looked tired but calm.  She had just left work and showed up at the flower shop in a suit and tie, but for what?

Was it perhaps for Hanni, yes the woman thought that was the reason.

Minji sniffed and with a gentle smile said, “A bouquet of red roses.”  Eunchae moved to get the roses while Danielle looked for the tools and fabric to make the rose bouquet.

Minji didn't look at Hanni, she kept her eyes fixed on her phone and didn't seem in the mood to talk.

So everything she told to Hanni was a lie?

Wasn't it true that she wanted her?

Had she deceived her by saying those words just to make her cry?

But why did she care if she looked at her or who those flowers were for, she wasn't in love with her?

No, Minji was an old friend who had rejected for the second time, and so why she had to know whose flowers they were.
