Danielle had some interesting offers for the cost of a shop near the flower shop but decided to let it go and start making room for her life too.
Hanni thought the same thing and decided that the shop was too much of a commitment for the moment and that the September offers were reasonable but too much to complete.
So while Danielle was at home watching some television, Hanni was out on another date with a rehashed and cheeky man in his thirties who did nothing but laugh nervously and ask how the food was.
For her part she could say that this punishment was deserved: going out with strange and absurd men was one of her punishments for not being efficient all these years.
And this was also the price Hanni had to pay for refusing Minji even though the request was very clear and pleading.
Sometimes she thought about Minji in the evening, and how that slightly attractive and addictive kiss was circulating in her mind.
Minji was beautiful of course but she was too expensive to be fooled by the person she loved.
The man ate normally as if there was no woman in front of him to have a conversation with.
These men were the death of Hanni because they were difficult to let go of: it was mean and rude to quickly decline dinner, but these cheeky and shy men were sweet and so vulnerable that sometimes Hanni felt guilty ruining everything from the first glance.
She didn't know where her father got these men but she decided that she would give them time to eat at least the first courses.
It was absurd to think how kind Hanni was in these situations and how she tried to please everyone and even her father.
And then she saw the same figure from that evening again, she was still tall and thin with a beautifully formed smile on her lips that cheered her walk towards her as if it were a duty. "Honey, what are you doing here?" asked the woman placing her hands on the table and giving a grim look to the man on her right.
Minji was more attractive than expected tonight: maybe it was her slightly more haughty bearing than other times or that there was some kind of aggression in her eyes?
But then again, who was ordering her to chase that man away with that look, even though she was tired of it too?
"Honey?" the man asked in a stupid whisper.
It was a question but the man didn't necessarily want an answer, he was afraid of the woman who was next to him.
"Don't worry Dae, she's just a friend" Hanni said, closing her eyes slightly and resting her hand on the table to rest her chin with the palm of her hand.
Hanni was tired to think but she didn't expect Minji to stalk her.
"Don't talk nonsense, HanHan. We are more than friends" Minji said without scruples, taking a lock of Hanni's hair and bringing it behind her ear to arrange it better.
Minji was really obsessed with her hair.
Hanni looked away and waited for Minji to leave and let him finish the night as she was planning, but instead she got the exact opposite.
"Go away" Minji said snapping her fingers loudly.
The man stood still in disbelief of the words he heard.
He didn't know what to do and just stood there waiting for a sign from someone as if he had a spring ready under his feet.
Minji sighed displeased by the man's action as if he was an undisciplined subordinate.
