A few days later Danielle had a funny encounter with someone she had already seen a couple of times, always at Hanni's grandmother's house, and, this time, the way things were going, the person in question asked for her.

Danielle was confused at first because she didn't understand why this woman wanted her but as soon as Hanni told her that it was a stupid date, she immediately accepted.

She had been thinking about Haerin constantly for days and now knowing that the woman was right in front of the door of the house where she lived asking her out, made her over the moon.

Haerin always came there with the same face and the same apathetic look but this time her request was pleading, it wasn't provocative like the others or selfish like her friends, but it seemed sweet from the look of it as if she was justifying herself for something, as if in reality the idea wasn't hers.

And in fact it wasn't hers.

It all started when Minji refused to go out with Sullyoon.

Honestly, at first it didn't bother her either, but it got worse when she asked Haerin if she could come with her, since Sullyoon would surely ask her about the agreement between the families and then force her to make the decision to launch their new relationship, even though the feelings weren't real.

Haerin told her that it was impossible without Sullyoon's consent, but as the so-called girl responded in her own words she said that "Haerin? Sure invite her, she probably won't come. She won't have anyone to introduce herself to".

She didn't know why but that sense of pride hit her in the chest like a bullet. She felt her feet almost ready to run and go tell something to that woman, who even though at first she had chosen her as Minji's future girlfriend, now was having second thoughts about it bitterly.

She was a very intelligent woman, she acted falsely with people and when she wasn't in front of them she would shoot them.

Sullyoon was that classic facade woman, that dear woman that men use to exalt themselves but she was never strong in hiding her hostility. Sullyoon was definitely beautiful and charismatic with an always elegant and majestic look that sometimes even Haerin envied her for her curves.

Definitely the choice to take Sullyoon as one of the candidates had certainly been for her appearance and also for the fact that the woman had never had problems with the press or with the law.

So giving that woman the chance had been all her fault, Minji had accepted meekly after the scolding of her father who had called her a hopeless nobody because she had never brought someone to home except her workers.

Now things were getting worse.

The choice to go and ask Hanni would have been in bad taste for Minji since she had always wanted to go out with the woman, she couldn't ask Mrs. Pham because she was an old woman and would have only made herself look stupid. She had no other people, apart from her clients and Hyein was well known to Sullyoon since she was Minji's secretary.

"It's not something you have to accept, it's just a request I make since it's a double date, and I can't go alone since I'm single" she said justifying herself in every way, it seemed like she had no choice but to beg.

Her eyes had become softer than usual and that indifferent expression on that face became sad almost as if she didn't want to admit her social life was so disgusting.

"By the way, I'm not even asking you to go out, but only to be there, I'll pay for dinner for you" he said again. Well honestly Danielle would go even if she would force her with an imperative tone. She didn't care for the moment if she was using her or if she was just making fun of her, but having the chance to go out with Haerin made her happy.

That woman had crossed her mind several times when she was in the flower shop.

When she saw flowers that had not yet bloomed, she thought of Haerin.

Haerin was like a flower still waiting to bloom.

She was a flower that had to be waited for and carefully cultivated. The tenderness of her petals had to be discovered and that sweet scent had to be smelled from afar. Only in this way would she obtain her wonderful flower: with patience and perseverance. Now this flower was not her property but was traveling freely in a field with other wild flowers.

"I accept, don't worry" were the words that stopped Haerin's speech. She sighed with relief and returned to the classic Haerin of always with that cold look and those cat eyes ready to scratch you.

The date was for Saturday night, a typical day for couples. The atmosphere was rather cold because of the tormenting September cold. There were only a few days left for autumn to capture everything.

Danielle asked Mrs. Pham for help since Hanni insisted that she should repeat the offer and make her cry in despair.

Mrs. Pham had advised her to dress elegantly since among her acquaintances, Miss Kang was known for her abundant wealth and also for her kindness and elegance.

So Danielle, wearing a majestic dark red one-piece, almost a red mixed with a little black, with a slit on the legs that made the woman's wonderful considerable curves visible, set off towards the car in which she would leave. And she must have been grateful for Mrs. Pham's splendid taste, because people looked down on her with an air of admiration and adoration. She wanted to tear off that white leather jacket and see her dress in all its beauty.

The heels obscured the voices and Danielle found herself inside the restaurant in the blink of an eye. Haerin was standing there next to a waiter.

"I have reserved a few days, can't I get a better seat? I'm a regular customer," the woman said calmly.

"Miss Kang, we know you love our food, but we don't want to make Miss Kim's image too public or people will start to get confused," the waiter replied.

Danielle approached, lightly touching the woman's shoulder with her fingers.

She suddenly turned around and was struck by Danielle's beauty for a few seconds.

"What's going on?" Danielle asked as if she were the manager of the restaurant.

The waiter with a smile invited the two again to sit at the table near the wall at the end of the room.

"Excuse me sir if I may, but this is not about courtesy, it is about blacking out the restaurant.

Miss Kang appreciates your restaurant very much, and I do not think it is a good choice for you to put the press in front instead of hospitality" said Danielle making the dishonesty and disorganization of the restaurant more than obvious.

The waiter talking with his colleagues, decided to move the table to a central one where the music was softly played by an orchestra from time to time. Haerin sat next to the woman since the other two seats would be occupied by the fateful couple.

"Thank you, sometimes people get scared when they hear the name Kim Minji" said the woman.

So for Minji who had this problem and who knows why the woman was not here yet.

Who knows how Hanni would react to knowing that the woman, who had been given complete trust in love, was dating another woman.

But this was well known among the public, and perhaps that was why the restaurant was worried about it.

But when the couple entered, no one said anything, rather they just watched the couple enter as if they had seen the world spin out of the ordinary.

"We are not late, I hope," said Minji, helping the woman to sit down and take off her jacket of a sparkling coat of black fur.

The dress was a light green and fell in the room like an emerald, gently falling on her waist adored by a glittering embroidery of jewels.

Sullyoon was definitely a diamond but for tonight Haerin could say that Danielle was the one who shone the most.

Her heart is heartened to know that Danielle had come.

And above all seeing Sullyoon's face turn sour made the evening better.
