As he placed the books in his arms for his upcoming class, Bailey stood at his locker. "Bailey?" He was startled by a voice, which made him jump. He was surprised to see someone when he turned around.

Now Steve Harrington stood before them, looking like a puppy dog who has lost its way. Confused, Bailey closed his locker door. "Hello..." he trailed.

"I know it sounds crazy, but I need your help." In an attempt to understand the direction of this, Bailey nodded slowly as he ran his hand down the back of his neck. "It concerns Nancy."

Bailey clutched the books to his chest and exhaled gently "Steve, have you ever considered the possibility that Nancy is not the person you should be putting your heart into?" The boy simply drooped his shoulders when he asked him the question.

Steve felt the agony in his heart as he leant his back against the locker. "Nancy is the one I desire and I...love, but all she had to say in response was bullshit. I am bullshit." Silently, he said.

When Bailey saw how helpless Steve appeared and how he was running after a girl who was just confusing him, he couldn't help but feel sorry for him.

"Showing Nancy how much she means to you is the only thing that comes to mind, Steve. Visit her home and give her the support and affection she deserves." He was helping Steve mend his damaged relationship with Nancy, and Bailey couldn't believe it.

"I'll give her flowers, Will you accompany me to buy her flowers? He spoke with a surge of excitement, and Bailey gave him a startled look. "That's all—you just seem like the type of person who knows about flowers."

"All right." Somehow, Bailey just felt compelled to help Steve. He is a people-pleaser excessively and sometimes he wishes he wasn't.

"Simply walk inside and express your true feelings to her." Bailey observed Steve clinging on the flowers. He really wanted those flowers to be for him, but he soon forgot about that wish.

"Thank you, Bailey." Steve's eyes were full with hope, while Bailey's eyes were slightly tinged with melancholy.

After adjusting his hair and himself, Steve exited the vehicle and headed for the house. Bailey's curiosity overcame him when he spotted Dustin on the side of the home. pondering why Dustin was here instead of with his pals.

"Steve...Are those for Mr. or Mrs. Wheeler?" Steve looked down at the flowers and shook his head when Dustin pointed to them.

"No.."

"Good." Steve tried to yell at Dustin when he grabbed them, but Dustin was on a mission and was going to the car. "Nancy isn't home."

"Where is she?"

Dustin simply shrugged and continued to walk. "Doesn't matter. We have bigger problems than your love life" Bailey was seated there when he opened the rear door of the automobile. "Hold these, please." To Bailey's surprise, he gave him the flowers.

"Oh, uhhh, Sure Dustin." He placed the flowers in his lap and stated that.

"Do you still have that bat?" Dustin turned to face a bewildered Steve and inquired.

"Bat? What bat?"

"The one with the nails?" Steve only looked perplexed as Dustin asked more questions than he had answered. "I'll explain it on the way."
