Meanwhile, somewhere far from the hotel, Jennie remained bound, her body still weak from whatever had been injected into her. She had no sense of time, no idea how long she had been unconscious. The only thing she could feel was the cold concrete beneath her and the fear that now gnawed at her, sharper than ever.

She tried to think clearly, but her head still throbbed, and the ropes binding her wrists cut into her skin every time she moved. She could hear faint noises in the distance—footsteps, low murmurs, the hum of machinery—but nothing distinct.

How long had she been gone? Was anyone looking for her?

Jennie’s thoughts raced. Lucy… Lucy would be looking for her. Wouldn’t she? She had to be at the hotel by now, wondering why Jennie wasn’t answering her calls. If she could just hold on, maybe help would come.

The door to the room creaked open, and Jennie froze, holding her breath as the masked figure stepped inside again.

"Comfortable?" they asked, their tone dripping with sarcasm.

Jennie clenched her jaw, not bothering to answer. She needed to stay strong, to figure out who these people were and what they wanted from her. But every second that passed without knowing where she was, without a plan, filled her with more dread.

“I’d get comfortable if I were you,” the figure said, almost amused. “You’re going to be here for a while.”

"Who are you?" Jennie asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

"You forgot me too fast; we just met a few hours ago," she said, pulling off her mask. Jennie's heart sank as she recognized the familiar face.

"Hana," Jennie said, her eyes widening in surprise.

"Why are you doing this? Your obsession isn’t going to take you anywhere," Jennie said, trying to keep her voice steady.

"You have stirred quite a bit of trouble," Hana replied, her expression darkening. "I will make sure you don't bother my Taehyung again."

Jennie felt a wave of anger and concern wash over her. "Hana, you have a whole life ahead of you. What you did right now can ruin your entire future. Let me go. I will let it slide."

"Let it slide?" Hana laughed, a bitter sound that echoed in the small room. "You think you can just walk away from this? You think I don’t know what he thinks of you? How he smiles when he sees your name pop up on his phone? You ruined everything, and now you think I’ll just let you go back to your perfect life?"

"Hana, this isn't going to solve anything. Taehyung deserves to be happy, and he won't be if you keep this up. You're not being fair to him or to yourself," Jennie urged, hoping to reach the part of Hana that was still reasonable.

Hana's expression faltered for a moment, but then she shook her head, her eyes wild. "You don't get to tell me what’s fair! You were the one who broke his heart, and now I’ll make sure he never has to look at you again. This is your punishment!"

"This isn’t punishment; it’s madness!" Jennie exclaimed, her voice rising. "You think Taehyung will love you more for this? You’re only pushing him further away. Don’t you see that?"

Jennie’s pulse quickened as she processed the reality of her situation. Hana had orchestrated all of this because of her past relationship with Taehyung—a relationship that had ended quietly years ago. It was barely more than a fleeting romance, one that never stood a chance in the chaos of their careers. Yet, to Hana, it had become the center of her twisted world.

"You think you know him," Jennie said, her voice steady despite the fear coursing through her. "But you don’t. Taehyung would never want this. He wouldn't want you to hurt anyone, least of all me."
