In the days following Taehyung’s press conference, the atmosphere around Ruby Cosmetics began to shift. The relentless media attention and public criticism gradually eased, and the tense whispers that had once filled the office hallways softened into an air of cautious optimism. Taehyung’s words had struck a chord, and slowly, the narrative began to change.

After Taehyung’s press conference, Jennie found herself rewatching his words, surprised at the warmth that stirred in her. It had been a long time since anyone publicly stood up for her, and seeing Taehyung do it, so effortlessly, left her with a strange mix of relief and vulnerability.

A few days later, Jennie received a message from Taehyung: “I hope it wasn’t too much. Just wanted you to know that I meant it.” She hesitated before responding, typing and deleting several times before finally settling on a simple, “Thank you. I appreciate it.”

Their exchanges started off brief and businesslike, but with each message, an old ease began to reemerge. As Ruby Cosmetics prepared to launch its newest line, Taehyung started offering input, suggesting ideas, and even stopping by Jennie’s office under the guise of “professional collaboration.” They’d sit across from each other, discussing everything from brand aesthetics to the right model for the campaign. Each interaction chipped away at the walls they’d built, revealing glimpses of who they once were to each other.

One evening, after a long day finalizing campaign details, they found themselves alone in her office, the quiet settling between them. “It’s strange,” Taehyung said, looking around at her thriving brand. “To see how far you’ve come… I’m proud of you, Jennie.”

A hint of a smile played on her lips. “It wasn’t easy. But I’ve learned how to rely on myself.”

“That’s one thing I never doubted about you,” he replied, his voice softening. “You were always strong.”

As the weeks passed, their connection deepened—not through grand gestures, but through the steady rhythm of shared goals, late-night talks, and unspoken understanding. The world saw only the professional partnership, but they felt the quiet bond rekindling, like a flame that had never quite gone out.

As Jennie stands at the entrance, she watches Taehyung effortlessly charm the camera, a slight smile playing on her lips despite her resolve to keep her distance. She knows she shouldn’t linger, but she can’t help it. The sight of him ignites old feelings she’s been trying to suppress.

Just as she turns to leave, Taehyung glances over and spots her. His eyes widen in surprise, and he calls out, “ Ms Jane , is that you ” he said keeping his professional demeanor hiding a knowing smile , jennie personally came to his photoshoot , it's not an everyday thing that the CEO herself comes on-site to check on a mere photoshoot

Caught off guard, Jennie quickly composes herself, forcing a casual smile as she steps further into the room. “Oh,  I was just passing by.”

“Passing by?” He raises an eyebrow, a playful smirk on his face. “You just happened to stop at the entrance to my photoshoot?”

Jennie feels a flush of embarrassment but keeps her tone light. “I was just curious, that’s all. I didn’t mean to intrude.”

Taehyung steps down from the set, his curiosity piqued. “You should come in! I'd love to hear your thoughts on the shoot. Your opinion always means a lot to me.”

She hesitates, torn between her instincts to connect and her desire to keep things professional. “I’m really busy today. Just thought I’d take a quick look and move on.”

“C’mon, it’ll be quick,” he insists, genuine excitement in his voice. “I could use your expertise. Plus, it’s nice to see you!”

" Yes Ms Jane, it's not an everyday thing to get our CEO's first hand review " a staff said pressing her even more
