Jennie and Taehyung sit side by side on the couch, their hands intertwined, rings glinting softly under the light. Jennie adjusts the position of their hands slightly while Taehyung steadies the phone for the perfect shot.
“You sure this is the one?” Jennie asks, her voice barely above a whisper.
Taehyung looks at the photo on the screen, then at her. “It’s perfect. Just like us.”
She bites her lip, hesitating. “What if this... backfires? What if we’re not ready?”
Taehyung places the phone down and cups her cheek, his touch warm and grounding. “Jennie, we’ve hidden long enough. This isn’t about the world anymore. It’s about us. Don’t you think we deserve to live in the open?”
Her eyes meet his, filled with doubt but also a flicker of trust. “Okay,” she says softly. “Let’s do it.”
Taehyung picks up the phone again and taps the post button. The photo uploads instantly, the caption they decided on appearing below it:

“It’s happening,” she says, her voice trembling.
Taehyung leans back on the couch, one arm draped around her shoulders. “Let them talk. We’ve done nothing wrong.”
She scrolls through the comments, her heart pounding. Her fingers pause on one.
"I’m so happy for them! They’ve been through so much—it’s about time they got their happy ending."
She reads another. “Look at this one. ‘They’re perfect together. True love always wins.’”
A small laugh escapes her lips, a mix of disbelief and relief. She continues scrolling and stops at a negative comment.
“‘Why couldn’t they just keep this private? They’re only asking for trouble.’”
Taehyung leans forward, taking the phone gently from her hands."Don’t focus on that. Look at the bigger picture—there are thousands of positive ones for every negative one." ”

As they step onto the balcony later that night, the city lights shimmer in the distance. Jennie takes a deep breath, the cool air calming her nerves.
