Jennie sat cross-legged on the couch in her living room, her phone in her hands. Beside her, Taehyung was typing something on his own phone, his face calm but focused. The weight of the moment wasn’t lost on them—this wasn’t just an announcement to their fans. It was a declaration of everything they’d endured, of their decision to choose happiness despite the chaos of the past.

“You ready?” Taehyung asked, looking over at her.

Jennie exhaled deeply, her fingers hovering over the “post” button. “Ready as I’ll ever be.”

They nodded to each other, and with synchronized motions, both hit post

The photo she shared was simple yet intimate: their hands intertwined, with a delicate engagement ring glinting on her finger.

Her caption read:
“After years of ups and downs, challenges and growth, I’ve found my forever. Taehyung and I are thrilled to share that we’re getting married. Thank you to everyone who has supported us through everything. This is a new beginning, and we couldn’t be happier.”

Taehyung posted a photo of the two of them, laughing together under a sunset sky.

His caption read:
“She said yes. Through every trial, every doubt, our love only grew stronger. Jennie and I are so excited to share this moment with you all. Let’s walk into this next chapter together, with love and positivity leading the way.”

Within minutes, the notifications flooded in. Jennie scrolled through the comments on her post while Taehyung did the same.

“I’m crying! They deserve this so much!”

“Finally, some good news! Congratulations, Jennie and Taehyung!”

“This is the most beautiful thing ever. True love wins!”

“Why her? Taehyung deserves better.”

“This is so unprofessional. Idols shouldn’t marry. Think about your fans!”

“I’m done supporting both of them.”

Jennie glanced at Taehyung, her brows furrowing slightly. He reached over, gently placing his hand over hers. “Don’t let them get to you,” he said softly.

She nodded, smiling faintly. “I won’t. It’s just… no matter how much we’ve been through, they still find ways to tear us down.”

He leaned closer, his voice steady and reassuring. “Hate is a never-ending thing. There will always be those who can’t be happy for others. But we’re not doing this for them. We’re doing it for us.”

Jennie smiled fully this time, her heart lighter. “You’re right. We’ve already won by choosing each other.”

They both turned back to their phones and started liking the supportive comments, ignoring the negativity entirely. Fans noticed, and soon the hashtag

" #TaennieForever " began trending worldwide.

For the first time in years, Jennie felt at peace, knowing that no matter what came their way, they could face it together.

he bridal suite buzzed with excitement. Jennie stood in front of the mirror, her wedding dress shimmering as sunlight poured through the large windows. She looked radiant yet nervous, her hands fidgeting with the lace sleeves.

“Stop touching the dress! You’re going to ruin it,” Jisoo teased, her voice filled with affection as she plucked a stray thread off the train. “Taehyung will faint if you show up looking anything less than perfect.”
