"How are you feeling, my love?" Lily asked you as she helped you sit on the bed.

You fell back against the mattress with a giggle and closed your eyes.

"I feel great."

"Let's see how long that lasts. Your friends told me you drank a lot. I think you're going to have quite the hangover."

You just hummed before sitting up.

"You're so pretty."

Your compliment to your girlfriend made a smile pull at her lips.

"Thank you but you're even prettier."

"Impossible. Have you seen yourself? Taken a look in the mirror lately? There's no way because you're the prettiest."

"You're sweet." She said before kissing your forehead. "How about we get you out of this dress?"

She meant it innocently, her only plan being to help get you into something cozy so you could get some sleep before that inevitable hangover hit you.

But you didn't take it that way.

You're drunk so when your girlfriend says something like that, your only thought is that she has another idea and wants to take it off for a different reason.

"You read my mind." You said as your lips tugged into a smirk.

"Not like that, cutie. Just to get you into something more comfortable."

You looked disappointed and pouted sadly at her so she leaned in and pecked the corners of your lips, hoping to see you looking happy again.

But the second her lips touched the corners of yours, you began to want more.

You wanted a real kiss; you wanted lots of them.

As Lily pulled away, you gently cupped her cheeks in your palms and pulled her in for a passionate kiss.

Her mind was telling her to pull away immediately.

It's clear to her already that you're wanting something else and she worried that if she kissed you too much, you might melt and think she wants that too.

She would on any normal night but you're very drunk and she knows that this is a night when intimacy is completely out of the question.

But your lips were so soft and so warm and she's missed kissing you because she's been so busy with the girls lately and hasn't had a ton of time with you.

She couldn't help but melt.

Her lips moved against yours for a moment, her hands gently taking hold of yours so she could wrap her fingers around them and hold them as you shared passionate yet loving kisses.

For a moment, it was perfect.

She got swept away and enjoyed every single second of it.

But when you tried to pull her closer and even tried to slip your hands under her shirt, she snapped out of it and knew that she had no choice but to pull away.

You whined as soon as her lips were no longer on yours and pouted at her.

"Why'd you pull away? Kiss me some more." You drunkenly slurred.

"Not tonight, baby."

She got up to grab a shirt for you from the closet, one that was long and a little baggy so it would be comfortable throughout the night.

When she turned around with one in her hands and saw you looking sad, her heart broke.

"What's the matter?"

"Why don't you want to kiss me? Is something wrong with me?"

"No. No, baby, nothing's wrong with you. It's just that you've had a lot to drink and getting carried away wouldn't be right."

"I'm okay though, Lily,"

She shook her head and hooked her fingers under your chin so you'd look her in the eyes.

"I'll make it up to you. When you're sober, we'll make out. But not tonight, okay? Not when you're this drunk. It's wrong and I love you too much to do that for you. No matter how much you tell me otherwise, I'm not doing that to you."

"Okay." You agreed. "I love you."

"I love you too."

She kissed your cheek and helped you out of your dress and into the cozy shirt she grabbed for you.

Once you were changed into that, you let out a whine.

"What's the matter?" She asked.

"I don't feel good."

"I had a feeling that it was only a matter of time."

She grabbed the empty trash can across the room and put it close to the side of the bed where you lay, just in case.

"If you feel sick, it's right there on the floor next to you."

You nodded and laid down, resting your head on the pillows while Lily covered you up.

"If you need anything, I'm right here."

She turned off the light and climbed into bed with you.

"I hope you feel better soon. I love you very much."

"I love you too." You mumbled before closing your eyes.
