I heard a loud, slightly irritating voice from behind me.

"Oh, Vihaan, you're here?"

Meera.

She stood there grinning like a maniac, her eyes fixed on Vihaan, not blinking once.

She was wearing a black top paired with white pants, a gold leaf pendant around her neck, and her messy bun, she looked pretty.

"What a pleasant coincidence," she said, stepping toward Vihaan.

Correction- an unpleasant coincidence.

She tried to sit beside him, but Raj immediately shifted closer to Vihaan, making sure there was barely any space for her.

Meera looked at Raj in confusion and a little bit of irritation but huffed and ended up sitting on the very edge of the bench.

Vihaan didn't even bother looking at her.

"Hi," she replied, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. Her eyes dropped to the floor as a silly grin spread across her face.

"Hi," he said, his voice flat, and his annoyance obvious.

I smiled tightly at her, forcing a cheerful "Hiiiiiii!" to get her attention and remind her that I am also here.

She glanced at me, clearly irritated by my presence.

Still, she replied, her tone dripping with annoyance.

"Oh, you're also here," she said, her face contorting in a way that made it clear she didn't care.

I rolled my eyes, not at all surprised by her attitude.

"Let's go, I think your order is getting ready", Vihaan then spoke up, trying to change the subject as Raj had ordered a chocolate shake for his cousin sister.

Meera, however, said "Ahh if you don't mind Vihaan can please stay a little bit, it will be great to spend more time, together with you," she said, picking up the pace to walk beside Vihaan.

She ignored Raj, who was holding his hand, and focused entirely on Vihaan.

Meanwhile Raj glaring at her, "Didi, it's bad manners to come uninvited. Bhaiya isn't going to pay for your Chocolate shake," he said.

Meera's face flushed with embarrassment.

Vihaan glared at Raj, the little kid just shrugged it off and kept walking ahead.

"Ah, don't worry, kiddo. I'm very close to your bhaiya, he won't mind me being uninvited" she said, exaggerating the word close as she looked at me with a smirk.

I reminded myself of the rule- Ignore her, Ruhii.

"I don't remember you being my close friend," he remarked sarcastically, making Meera's eyes widen in surprise.
