Your POV

Outside of Borg Tower, the streets of New Ninjago City were absolutely trashed. Traffic lights littered the ground, and cars were either destroyed or strayed on the road.

You were practicing with nunchucks near the window. They were wrapped in electric-blue coloured tape, primed to say on forever. You weren't specifically trained in them, but you were also not bad at using them. It just felt different compared to a sword or spear.

"I think we should put the main switch over here to keep it tucked away a little," Borg said as he wheeled over to a table, holding a small metal square with a red button on it.

P.I.X.A.L was plugged into another machine with a handful of buttons and a screen. She smiled at Zane, who was watching her affectionately. The other boys were talking around in a circle near the center of the dark room.

"With a little ingenuity and a few more coaxial cables, we may be able to reboot the system with the Techno Blades and erase the Overlord for good." Borg tinkered with a live piece of metal, causing sparks to fly out by poking it with the tip of a screwdriver.

The group of teens broke away from their conversation, walking over to where Borg was working. Zane called you over to see what the inventor was doing. You turned your nunchucks into a sword and sheathed it by your hip.

"I thought you said we needed the stolen hard drive to do that," Jay questioned.

"I did. But that was before I truly understood the entire capabilities of what Zane's powers truly allow us." Borg glanced to the nindroid behind him.

"And escaping the Digiverse?"

"Exactly. But if we digitize the ninja and Techno Blades using my experimental technology, you could fight him on his own turf inside the Digiverse."

"So... we're getting teleported into a computer?" you said, repeating what you understood. Cole and Zane exchanged a glance while Kai merely looked confused.

Jay squealed, asking the question again. "What do you mean inside the Digiverse?"

"Ugh, weren't you listening? He's going to put us into the video game," Cole retorted.

"I know, heh, I just wanted to hear it again!" Jay jumped up and down like a kangaroo, clearly ecstatic about this surreal experience.

"But Mr. Borg, if anything were to happen to them inside the program--"

Borg waved P.I.X.A.L off, momentarily pausing his work with the machine that was powered by P.I.X.A.L's heart. "Of course. Every step into the unknown has its dangers."

"What dangers? What is she talking about?" Kai asked, his voice higher than usual. Of course, he hated technology. But one would think he was excited to be in a video game.

"You know how in video games you get multiple lives?" Borg began. Jay jumped up again and onto one of the five chairs, facing the giant screen on the wall in front.

"Yeah--- woah."

"It's not like that."

"Oh."

"Having a few lives would come in handy, huh?" you sighed, running a hand through your hair. Ironically enough, you did have a past life, as a dragon during the time of the First Spinjitzu Master. You still needed to find out more about that.

The large screen in front of Jay lit up with a blue light, scaring the Lightning Ninja off the chair. "Presto! We're up and running!" Borg announced, glad the power was working now.
