CHAPTER
THIRTY-TWO

"No more revenge and sorrows."

The next day was a bit of a blur. Two cases in the morning and meetings in the afternoon. Finally, it was evening; Jaeyun quickly left work after his last meeting. He quickly drove to a destination. Now, he was sitting in the living room of his previous client, Kang Sanghee."

Sanghee slid down two big folders towards him. "This is for you. It has some evidence you may need to win the case. Take your time to read them. It's a lot." Jaeyun took one of the folders into his hands and opened it.

He saw four stables of papers together. Opened one of them before briefly reading them. "This will indeed be useful," he said as he put the folder back on the table. "That's good," she nodded. "Do you know Kang Taehyun?" Sanghee nodded with no hesitation. "He's my cousin, why?"

He shook his head. "It's nothing important. Thank you, Ms. Kang, once again." She stood up and held out her hand. "It's nothing, and thank you for taking my case." He shook his head. "I just took it because I want to give you the justice you deserve."

After saying their farewells, Jaeyun went to his car and drove back to the firm to work on Sooah's case. After all, he got approval from his family and the law to reopen the famous case. This time, this case will get its justice.

FOUR DAYS LATER

Heejin finished packing up her clothes and items into her suitcases. She looked at her phone and saw messages from the group chat room. Opening the chat room, a smile appeared across her lips. She saw screenshots of Jaeyun winning Sooah's case. She was so happy for him.

Feeling less guilty but still feels a pit of guilt inside her stomach. If she helped Sooah before that incident, then this wouldn't have happened. Heejin held her stomach and quickly went to the bathroom. Throwing up nothing, she sat on the floor. Take a minute before flushing the toilet.

Maybe it wasn't the guilt she had that made her throw up. But she hasn't had a good meal since she last visited her mother. Maybe that was the reason since she kept throwing them up after she ate. She washed her mouth before walking out of the bathroom.
