O sister, I pray thee
For this one day come with me,
Among the dense woods, a graceful walk
With twittering birds, a songbird's plea.
A gently flowing stream.
The wine of God it seems
So light, so cool its taste
Where all worries and tears are repaid.
O sister for this one day listen to me.
As there are dew-drenched grass a green sea
A wonderful dance in every step
A smiling face, a charming shape.
Stretched across the sky like a soft scar.
A pleasant scene from anywhere,
A seven coloured ribbon you can see.
Only if you go with me.
O sister but thee must be careful
There are flowers of all kinds, a sight so beautiful
Thou must walk slowly like a Lady elegant.
If thou want to see them bow magnificently.
A field of dandelions can be seen
Flying away with the wind.
Talk to them, they will listen patiently
And deliver your message to the Gods happily.
Sun-bathed clouds, thou can see
So soothing, so refreshing.
A melody in the air, a tune so enchanting.
Amidst a song, a nature's play.
O sister, I pray thee
For this one day come with me.
To see the beauty of Spring's bliss
And feel the warmth of Nature's kiss.
Surrounded by the mountains,
I will take thee to an unknown place.
Never try to trace back thy pace
And thou will find thee in an Earthly Heaven.
