In my heart,
There lives a girl named Prerana.
Her glowing beauty and chattering silence
Was everyone’s favourite.
Played we, brother and sister
The game of thief and police.
But who knew how she became
The thief everytime making me astonished?
My role as a police was useless,
For never could I catch her.
Her swift speed and glittering reflex
Seemed to match the race of a stallion.
But who knew that she would be
Faster than that
When last time we played hide and seek?
Being a police in the game,
I could not catch her.
Her swift speed took her away
Beyond blue hills and snowy mountains.
My eyes, streamed
But could not glitter with tears.
Her smile radiated now
As pencils of rays of the sun from behind clouds.
No one can catch her now.
But she hides herself now in my heart as a
Neverfound thief.
