Dandelions

I was walking with a pensive mood

Wandering in woods

As far as I could.

When a dandelion caught my sight

Beckoning me, a friend in its flight.

I could not but follow it

With the pensive mood and wandering feet.

Soon we reached a grassland green

Where a curious sight awaited me.

A sea of dandelions, white as cloud.

My pensive mood turned into grace, profound.

Enthralled I stood and saw

The inviting dandelions, I gazed in awe.

The wind was strong and the dandelions flew

To God, in the heaven I knew.

Still in a trance, I turned to go

But the flowers said,

"Not now, no."
