Good bye Dave. I hope you find someone new to love." Sabi ni Chloe at umalis na siya sa harapan ni Sir Diwa. Naiwang lito si Sir Diwa tungkol sa mga sinabi ni Chloe. Ano kaya ang ibig sabihin niya sa "You lived a good life, and so did she." Hindi niya nakuha ang pinaparating ni Chloe.
The Next Day
Nawawalan na ng pag-asa sina Eloisa at Rose sa paghahanap. Naubusan na sila ng pwedeng pagkukunan ng clues at malapit na ang araw kung kailan matatapos na talaga ang time limit. Ano na kaya ang kanilang gagawin?
"Rose! Ano na? Wala na tayong pwedeng pagkunan ng clue. Yung diary hindi naman sinabi kung saan pa tayo pwede maghanap. Tapos na, kahit buklatin pa natin yung diary back to back. Yung tula, useless! Yung mag-asawang Felizar, patay na! Kahit nakulong naman natin si Chloe, di naman nating pwede ibalik lahat! Wala ng pag-asa!" Sabi ni Eloisa.
"Alam ko! Alam ko!" Sabi ni Rose.
"Ano na kaya?" Sabi ni Eloisa.
"Hmmmm... May naiisip ako. This is somewhat surprising to you and possibly worth nothing, pero it's worth a shot. Sasama ka na ba?" Sabi ni Rose.
"Tara! San ba tayo pupunta?" Sabi ni Eloisa. Pumunta na sina Eloisa at Rose sa isang parte ng school kung saan nadoon ang kanilang pinaghihinalaan. Sumilip sila sa pintuan.
"There he is. That suspicious little human being. So, let's bust this door open at tanungin na siya." Sabi ni Rose.
"Wag! Baka pagbayarin pa tayo ng school, tapos wala na tayong tsansa para makapaghanap hanap ng clue kung siya nga. The best thing we can do is talk to him, then let's find some clues while we are talking with him. And I agree with you on this, baka nga siya. Siguro hindi kita kinampihan nung mga nakaraang araw tungkol sa kanya, pero ngayon sa mga aksyon na ginawa niya, naghihinala na ako. Tara pumasok na tayo." Sabi ni Eloisa.
"Teka, kung kakausapin natin siya, ano naman ang pag-uusapan?" Sabi ni Rose.
"Yung tungkol sa victory ng kaso at yung tungkol sa hopelessness ng paghahanap. We can talk to him then try to look around the room, or we could talk hanggang sa magsimula yung klase niya, then we'll try to search for some clues while he's gone. Which ever comes first." Sabi ni Eloisa.
"Good. Tara na." Sabi ni Rose. Kumatok na sila sa pintuan. Pumasok na sina Eloisa at Rose sa loob ng kwarto.
"Good morning, what can I do for you?" Sabi ni Sir Diwa.
"We would like to thank you for being such a great witness. Thank you for giving your testimony." Sabi ni Rose.
"It's fine. It was nothing. So how's the search?" Sabi ni Sir Diwa.
