And here we are, at the very end! It’s hard to believe this journey has come to a close. I’m filled with so many emotions looking back on how Lan and Xian’s story unfolded.
As I write this, I’ll admit, I almost didn’t have the courage to hit “publish.” This story, Lan and Xian’s journey, sat in my drafts for so long, and I doubted whether it would ever see the light of day. It’s one of those stories I thought I might just keep for myself, hidden away with all the others I never finished or never found the strength to share.
But somehow, through a mix of nerves and excitement, I decided to put it out there, and I can’t tell you how grateful I am that I did. Your support and enthusiasm, your reactions, and your encouragement made it worth every moment of hesitation. Watching Lan and Xian’s story resonate with so many of you has been beyond rewarding, and I feel incredibly lucky to have shared this journey.
From the first page to this very last note, you’ve made this experience unforgettable. Thank you for taking a chance on this story and for welcoming these characters into your hearts.
