Bogeum was pacing back and forth in the living room, phone clutched tightly in his hand. He felt the pressure building with every word from his niece, Jannie, on the other end of the line. It wasn’t like he didn’t love her—he did—but when it came to her plans, things had a way of going off-track, and he wasn’t sure he was ready for the aftermath.

"Uncle Bogeum, please! I just want to show him something!" Jannie’s voice was persistent, almost pleading. He could hear the smile in her voice, and it was enough to make him want to cave in.

He sighed, leaning back against the couch, rubbing his forehead. "Jannie, you know how your Appa feels about this."

She didn’t even give him a second to finish before she launched into her next line of reasoning. "But Appa’s not here until tonight! So we can have my Dad here! Uncle, please, please?"

Bogeum’s head slumped in resignation. It wasn’t even about Seokjin anymore. It was about the way Jannie’s voice cracked at the right moments—like some kind of Jedi mind trick. "Alright, alright," he finally said, defeated. "But this better not turn into a circus when your father gets home, okay?"

There was a split-second of silence before Jannie’s voice came back, bubbly and relieved. "I promise! I promise! No circus, Uncle! This will be super chill. Super duper chill!"

Super chill? He wasn’t sure what that even meant. Every time Jannie used that word, things got far more chaotic than anyone could handle. But he knew better than to argue with her. She’d worn him down before, and today was no different.

"Okay. But I’m serious, Jannie," he added as a final warning. "*This better not turn into a *thing.**"

Her laughter echoed through the phone. "No thing, I swear. Just a peaceful, calm, and—oh! I almost forgot—movie night! You can pick the movie! No K-dramas, I promise! You can choose anything you want!"

Bogeum paused at that. No K-dramas? That was a tempting offer. Jannie knew exactly how to bribe him, and that was his weakness. "Fine," he muttered. "But only because I’m a sucker for cheesy action films, and I’m not even going to ask why you’re suddenly so well-behaved."

"Deal!" she chirped. "It’s a date, Uncle. Daddy will be here in a bit! He’s already on his way! For now you can go anywhere you like, Daddy will take charge"

Bogeum didn’t even have time to respond before the line went dead. He stared at his phone for a second, wondering if he'd made a huge mistake.
"Kook will kill me, if he knows !" Bogeum mumbles by himself

Seokjin, would finally be able to visit her, thanks to the approval from his Uncle Bogeum.  Jannie couldn’t hide her excitement. She waited eagerly at the door, her eyes scanning the street for the arrival of her dad. Finally, she spotted a luxurious car pulling up in front of the house. The car came to a smooth stop, and Seokjin stepped out, looking as handsome as ever. He gave a subtle gesture to the chauffeur, who then drove off, leaving Seokjin standing there.

"Daddy!" Jannie cried, her voice full of joy.

"Hey, baby! How are you?" Seokjin’s face lit up with a wide smile as he walked toward her, bending down to wrap her in a warm hug.

"I’m fine, Daddy, and I’m so happy to have you here today!" Jannie exclaimed, her eyes sparkling.

"Where’s your Appa?" Seokjin asked, looking around for Jungkook, his husband.

"He’s not here, Daddy," Jannie replied, her expression shifting slightly. "He’s busy at the office. Come in! I really wanna show you something!"

Seokjin followed Jannie into the house, and as he stepped inside, he was immediately struck by the sight of the walls lined with frames, portraits, and paintings. Each one seemed to tell a story of his athletic journey, from his early days in sports to his triumphs as an adult. There were also several childhood photos of him and Jungkook, the two of them laughing and playing together. It was clear that Jungkook had kept all of these precious memories alive in their home.
