chapter four
violin and the savage jam

SAGE WAS IN THE STRINGS CABIN, or when everyone who played instruments that had to do with strings practiced. there were guitars, cellos, violins and other instruments lined up, and sage's chosen instrument was the violin.

except hers was her own, she would never play an instrument that wasn't hers, it felt like betrayal to the instruments she spent money on.

so, she was practicing a random song her violin in the strings cabin, nobody in there but her.

well that's how it was for a little bit, until someone came in. "hey sage, whatcha doing in the strings cabin?" shane said, coming inside.

"playing an instrument with strings?" sage said, "i know but i thought you a drummer." shane said.

"that's where you're wrong, i don't have a specific title. i sing, i write songs, i play the drums, piano, violin, and a few more." sage said.

"you're multitalented? i know someone who can definitely compete to that." shane said. "who?"

"my brother."

"ha, ha." sage said. "i'm serious! my band is coming on saturday for the beach jam, just you see. the curly haired one." shane said.

"so are you just going to talk to me about your brother every time we speak." sage said. "the only other time i have was the first time we met." shane said.

"once is enough. i'll decide my opinion on him on saturday." sage said. "he's a great guy." shane shrugged.

"thanks shane, i appreciate your help." sage said. "anytime."
