Momo's car pulled up in front of the orphanage, Shinkai getting out to hold the door open for Izuku on his first day at U.A.. The greenie got in with a thanks, sitting next to his best friend.
"Are you excited? We'll get to actually be heroes! I wonder what our teacher will be like." The girl laughed lightly, holding her bag in her lap, before fixing his tie.
"Not really... feel like everyone's gonna be assholes..." Momo sat straight again, raising a brow.
"Why? Everyone wants to be a hero after all." The limo began moving, and Izuku shrugged, staring at his locket. He wasn't going to wear it of course, but he planned to keep it in his pocket. It was like a comfort object, like the Cath-doll he kept for so many years. No one except Momo really knows he still has it, since he doesn't bring it out often, but he'll take it from under his bed some nights to hold if he feels especially terrible.
"Dunno... lots of people have been nice until they learnt I was quirkless..." Yaoyorozu looked at him with sympathy, before sighing and taking his hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze.
"Don't worry about it, if they're rude, you can always just ignore them. You do that with everyone anyways." She laughed, and the boy simply nodded, squeezing her hand back.
The two walked into Class 1-A, Izuku letting go of her hand before they entered the room. The girl laughed lightly to herself when she saw a small shine in the greenie's eyes, following his gaze to see a blonde and a blue haired teen. She wondered if he'd become friends with them during the entrance exam.
"Get your feet off the table! It is disrespectful to our upper classmen and the people who made this desk!" Iida scolded the blonde, and Izuku simply stood next to Yaoyorozu, then followed her to her table.
"Do I look like I care four-eyes? Piss off, your voice is giving me a headache." He watched the two go back and forth, before his attention was brought to a small boy with purple- uh... balls?? For hair... huh...
"Since when did U.A. accept 6 year olds...?" He mumbled, and Momo followed his gaze. Her expression morphed into confusion as well, then the purple boy turned around. Izuku cringed at his face, which offended the kid.
"Hey! Whath's with the face?" Even his voice was weird, and the raven haired girl looked away to keep from laughing.
"It's nothing..." The greenie mumbled, and Katsuki's banter with the Iida was cut short with him turning white as a sheet. The blonde looked over his shoulder and saw the freckled teen. A confused Tenya looked up from scolding him, and his gaze landed on the same person. His expression morphed into one with a smile.
"Ah, Izuku-kun! It's good seeing you again!" He yelled, gaining the greenie's attention. The teen looked up from the purple guy, and he gave a small wave to Iida. Katsuki was dumbfounded. Not only was this stranger the one who kept giving him Deja Vu, but apparently it was the one who beat him in the practical exam. He blinked in confusion, looking between Tenya and Izuku, gears turning in his head.
Momo pushed him forward a bit, encouraging him to socialise, and ended up with a conversation herself. The greenie felt a bit betrayed, but he walked to Iida, entering a one-sided conversation, a confused Bakugo next to them in his seat, then joined by Uraraka. Izuku didn't say much, letting Ochako and Tenya do the talking, before he sat down in the empty seat nearest to him when he saw a yellow sleeping bag appear in his peripheral vision. It was like it just teleported there, and he didn't know who it was, but if they wore a sleeping bag and not the uniform, they weren't a student. He was now sat behind the paled blonde, bluey and the brunette now the only ones who were standing, and thus the ones who got a minor calling out from the teacher.
