"What's your full name?"

"Izuku..."

"Your full name I said." The officer pushed lightly, but the boy didn't want him to know in fear of being sent back to the "Quirkless Sanctuary".

"..." The officer sighed and just wrote down 'Izuku'.

"What's your quirk?" The Japanese boy fiddled with his locket, and the first thought that came to mind was the twins.

"An enhanced intelligence quirk..." The officer wrote it down.

"Well, that explains quite a bit... can you tell us how you escaped?"

"I broke the glass and ran..." Once again, the officer nodded and wrote it down.

"Where are your parents or guardians? Or what number should we call to come get you?" Izuku was silent, zoning out on the locket, staring at the flowers.

"Izuku?"

"Hm...?" He didn't look up, and the police sighed.

"I asked what number we should call to come get you."

"Oh... you don't have to do that... I just want to get to RosWater Station..."

"We can't let you go by yourself kid." It was silent for a few moments.

"Were your parents or guardians on the train with you...?" The officer asked with sympathy.

"Sure..." He did a double take, looking back at his colleagues then the nurses.

"Sure...?"

"Um... I meant yes..." The boy brought his knees to his chest, gripping his bag strap with the knife in the coat pocket.

"I'm sorry for your loss... we'll call a-"

"NO!" Izuku quickly called out, startling the officers. The boy was bolt upright, knuckles white from gripping too tightly on his possessions.

"Please just take me to RosWater Station..." The police officer swallowed and looked at his notepad.

"I need to get to Japan... I have family there that I can stay with... please..." The older sighed as Izuku gave him a sad look. He turned around to discuss with the other officers. As it began to look like they wouldn't let him go, he quietly sprinted off, hearing a nurse calling after him. The police ran as well, and the loud voices echoed in the station. As the boy pushed past people, he felt like he was on the cramped train again. His mind became fuzzy, panic rising in his chest and tears welling, and he felt like he was suffocating with his dry throat seemingly closing in on itself. He was about to jump onto the railway when security pulled him back, causing him to fall to the ground, breathing heavily and flipping out the knife on reflex. He held it pointed at the security, until he realized there was no murderer.

The green haired child began coming back to reality, taking deep breaths and swallowing thickly. The security guard held their arms up, shocked at the knife he almost had taken to the eye. This made Izuku feel terrible and guilty, putting the knife away again. Stares from the passing strangers overwhelmed him, and he quickly stood up, making his way away from everyone. The boy covered his ears, mumbling to himself about random topics to distract himself, but was soon met with reporters. Hadn't he asked for them to not come up to him?

Why can't everyone just leave me alone...

The Harper family was finally home, the girls playing in their room while Sasha and Caspar watched the news. The Ad break just finished, and the news of the train incident came on. Sasha sat up straight, worry written on her face, putting down her tea.

"Wasn't that Izuku's train...?"

"Mm... I'm sure he's alright..."

"AN ESTIMATED NUMBER OF 100 CASUALTIES TOOK PLACE IN THE HOUR PREVIOUS OF HIS CAPTURE ON THE TRAIN TO ROSWATER STATION..."

Sasha put her hands over her mouth, her eyes wide and slightly teary. Caspar sipped his coffee.

"It says he survived..."

"But he's the only one! He'll feel horrible!" The woman exclaimed, and Caspar shrugged. This pissed Sasha off slightly.

"What's with you? Don't you care? You probably understand best what this could do to his mind!"

"He's a strong kid... he can handle it..."

"That's not how you feel. I'm your wife. Don't try and lie to me. Ever since we found out he was quirkless you've been reluctant about everything to do with him. I had to convince you to help when he was screaming!"

"I don't see why you-"

"You're a damn psychiatrist! You're a professional when it comes to that! You were the- oh... Oh. I didn't think you would stoop that low..." Caspar looked up at his wife, who was furious. He felt a chill down his spine, and he set down his coffee, reaching up a hand to try and calm her down.

"Sasha it's not-"

"You quirkist BASTARD!" She smacked his hand away from her.

"Just because he's quirkless doesn't mean he's worthless! You should care for him like you care for everyone else!"

"But he's just... it's... a bit... strange, don't you think...? In this point in time..." Sasha was flabbergasted. She never would've thought her husband, a man who she thought didn't care about such tiny things, was quirkist.

"Strange...? Oh, well I guess if we're thinking like that, my quirk is still villainous, huh? If we're being simple minded imbeciles, I should still be in that metal institute, hm?" The man looked up at his wife, clearly not sure what to say.

"Darling, you know I didn't mean it like tha-"

"No, no, no! Don't try use pet names on me now! Izuku was in a traumatizing experience, probably scarred for life, and you're ignoring it because he's quirkless?" Caspar was silent, looking down. Sasha's hands balled into fists. She was about to continue, when she saw fear on his face. Not like the fear of when you're being scolded by someone, not upset like when you're guilty for something and get called out, but genuine fear, like how you'd feel in a dangerous situation. This hurt her heart, and her hands loosened.

"You're still scared of me... It's been 15 years... I-I wouldn't... I'm not a... a villain a-anymore..." The silence between them grew, and Caspar's face grew more and more guilty. Finally, the woman turned off the TV, took her tea, leaving to the kitchen, and Caspar was now alone in the TV room.

Tonja and Beatrice upstairs had wondered what happened, but as fights between the two happened time to time, mainly because Sasha didn't have her medication, they had gotten used to it and continued playing Barbies, imagining Izuku there with them. Though the fights never ended up with crying. This caught their attention as they heard quiet crying form the kitchen. The girls gave each other a glance, then put down their toys to check on their mother.

"Mommy...?" "What's wrong...?" They slowly approached her, gripping her pant legs. Sasha wiped her tears, looking down at her daughters. She knelt down their height, and the girls wiped any further tears away.

"Girls... be honest with me please... am I... do you think I'm scary...?" The twins frowned, furrowing their brows.

"Of course not!" "You're beautiful!" "Why would you think that?"

The girls pulled her into a hug, startling the older a bit, before she returned it, carding her fingers through her children's hair.

"If anyone thinks you're scary, they're stupid." "Yeah!" "You're the prettiest person we know mommy!" "Don't let anyone tell you any different."

Their father listened from the TV room, tracing his finger around the rim of his mug.

I must be the stupidest of all...
