the moment you stepped a foot inside your first period, you were tackled by bebe, who seemed to be too excited.

you pretended to be oblivious of kyle's staring that practically burned holes on your back and focused on the curlyhead who began rambling to you— though you zoned out for most of it— you managed to muster up a convincing smile.

"what's got you so excited?" you questioned, amused by her change in behavior compared to yesterday.

"i got into the varsity cheer team! VARSITY! can't you believe it?!" she squealed, tightening her grip on your arm with excitement.

you laughed nervously, and pat the overjoyed girl on the back. noticing that a certain ravenette was missing, you looked around the room. "by the way, where's wendy?"

at the mention of wendy, a pout formed on bebe's lips, her arms still clung onto yours. "she had to attend her class council meeting." a look of irritation flashed in her eyes, "..or she's with her so-called-boyfriend." she rolled her eyes, letting out a quiet but dramatic scoff.

"oh.." you play with bebe's curls as she leads you to her seat, "they're pretty cute, i don't get why you're so upset about them getting together."

bebe pretended to gag. "ew! they're not even that cute together," she continued to complain about how annoying it was to third wheel as she grabbed her make-up pouch, "and like! it's weird because they were beefing just a month ago."

you hummed, clearly not as worked up as much as bebe was. instead you stared at the curly–blonde haired girl as she applied lip gloss on her lips.

"i remember her calling me just to complain and yap about that hoe too! i don't understand what she sees in him now like- he looks like he doesn't shower!" she angrily spat, her actions becoming more aggressive the more she went on, "how do you go from hating your ex to dating him for the hundredth time?!"

"enemies to lovers?" you offered.

bebe made a face at your comment and you let out a laugh, finding joy in bebe's discomfort with her best friend getting back with someone she publicly showed hatred for.

"..and then they suddenly end up back together! like- i don't get it?!" her lips made a satisfying pop, glimmering under the classrooms lights. "uh, [y/n]? are you listening?"

you averted your eyes from her lips, now noticing the pink hue that spread across her cheeks.

you opened your mouth to apologize, but the teacher came in before you could. a random teacher you didn't recognize started yapping about how your real teacher was absent for the day.

sadly, you still had assignments to complete.

as soon as the substitute finished talking, you turned around to offer bebe your infamous cheeky smile— but the curly–blonde haired girl was furiously tapping on her phone— a pink hue still adorning her features.

seems like she's back to ignoring you.??

the day went by fast, the bell ringing for lunch just as you closed your chromebook shut. you glanced at butters, who was busy conversing with another classmate.

the incident at the school's event was a breeze, being replaced by another topic that was deemed more dramatic and juicy to talk about. the spotlight that once shined so brightly upon you was now dimmed, and you slowly became one with the crowd, who were often called the NPCs by the popular crowd.

you felt more alone after the.. incident. maybe it was just you but you noticed how the usual people who bothered you began to become distant, and you couldn't really blame them for that.

not that you cared. in fact, you were perfectly delighted with the idea of being left alone.

you quickly tidied up your desk and slung your bag over your shoulder, getting up from your spot without wasting another minute. your peers weren't the only one who changed, you actually found yourself beginning to dread having conversations with anyone who wasn't very close to you.

you used to enjoy talking with your classmates. only when they talked to you though.

ugh, you were starting to miss the old days. 'just two more days..' you quietly reminded yourself.

turning another corner, you paused your steps when you saw how over crowded the cafeteria was. as much as you wanted to see your friends, who probably missed you as much as you missed them, you weren't in the mood to be surrounded by loud noises.

eating at the library would be more peaceful than this mess. nodding at the last minute decision, you turned on your heel.

but of course there had to be an obstacle in the way, because the moment you entered the library, you made eye contact with the person who was number one on your 'to ignore' list.

the one and only craig tucker. woohoo!

while you stared in shock, craig barely glanced at you— his eyes briefly flickering to where you stood as the door creaked open upon your arrival.

shit, that lowkey hurt your heart more than you thought it would.

beside him was tweek, who thankfully didn't notice you standing behind him staring like an idiot. but you didn't care that the blond didn't notice you— you only cared about the fact that craig pecked him on the lips— in your fucking face.

almost as if he did it on purpose.

your stomach churned with mixed emotions— mostly jealousy and anger— but you pushed them aside. if craig wanted to be petty? then so be it, you'll be even more petty.

but you weren't that shitty to drag tweek into this. the poor blond probably didn't know about the situation.

that only fueled your anger, and you swallow the lump in your throat, forcing your feet to move past the new 'couple'.

it hasn't even been a few days and craig was already fucking with someone. your lips pulled into a scowl, you just hoped he wasn't playing with tweek's feelings.

ignoring craig's obvious staring, you moved along the crowd, making your way into a quieter space. with a sigh leaving your lips, you tossed your bag onto the ground and sat on one of the bean bags,

"[y/n]?" a feminine voice called out to you. "finally i found you! you had me worried thinking that you left the school."

you just couldn't be left alone in peace without something and someone bothering you, could you?

turning your head, your eyes locked with kenny's infamous ex–girlfriend, tammy.
