it's been officially one year since [y/n]'s departure. the only reason why heidi remembered was because the date was circled on her calendar.

many of her older friends had already graduated. that included bebe, tolkien, butters, and red. it felt bittersweet knowing they were the next to graduate, especially since their group was incomplete.

though it was more peaceful now that cartman, the devil himself who was the reason for half of the arguments, was gone- it did feel boring and emptier without him causing mischief. not that heidi would openly admit that.

heidi sighed as she flipped through her homework. being the vice class-president was not for the weak- she was lucky to not have as much work as wendy, who is the class-president for the seniors.

not that heidi even wanted to be class president, she just did this so her resume would look good for colleges. ugh- she didn't even want to think about colleges yet.

"if you're just going to lounge around instead of talking to us you're going to have to leave," wendy's voice rang through the room, "i'm being serious, kenny."

heidi rolled her eyes. ever since both she and wendy took the role of class-president, kenny began visiting during their lunch to skip his class.

"we're seniors now, i don't think they'll care if i skip one class." kenny pouted, not bothering to face wendy as he continued to furiously tap on his phone.

"it's not just one class, you've been doing this since the beginning of the school year!" wendy reprimanded, puffing out her cheeks when the dirty-blond continued to ignore her.

"let him be, babe," stan sighed, "i'm surprised he's even graduating."

kenny shot up in his seat, his face twisting into a shocked and betrayed expression, "well, excuse you, my grades are actually amazing!"

kyle snorted, "only because you used chatgpt."

the room erupted into laughter when kenny sheepishly grinned and shrugged, flopping back onto the couch that was for some reason placed inside the room.

the laughter ceased and the group became quiet. the comfortable quiet kind. everyone did their own thing- their mind being occupied by the fact that they would be graduating in a few hours.

"y'know you guys didn't have to come today right? almost everyone skipped today." heidi spoke up, sending a curious glance to the trio.
