your eyes wandered over her figure before they flickered back to her face. a small smirk rested on her lips and your brow twitched at that.
your mood was already sour, but if tammy was planning to provoke you even more, you were sure you were going to give in.
"what do you want?" you spat out, before clamping your mouth shut with your hands.
tammy seem surprised by the venomous tone in your voice and her smirk widened. her eyes crinkled with mirth, "feisty, aren't you?" she giggled, and you looked away in embarrassment.
you cleared your throat, "sorry, what i meant to say is what do you need?" you quickly flashed a smile at the latter.
another giggle slipped out of her mouth and her lips curved into a teasing smile, "now that's better!" she walked over to sit beside you, staring at you with the same smile that slowly tensed.
"if you think i'm here to pester you, i'm not." she paused. "i'm here to clear things up."
this time it was you who stared. "clear things up? knowing you, whatever bomb you're going to drop on me is going to make my mood worse."
as soon as that left your mouth, guilt immediately pooled in your stomach. why were you saying such things you knew you wouldn't usually say? did seeing craig affect you that much?!?
almost as if she saw through your anger, tammy simply laughed. "someone's a little hot-headed!" she teased, reaching out to poke you on the cheek with her finger, which you immediately leaned away from.
"haha." you deadpanned, "it's almost like i didn't get shot up and had my grandma killed in front of me and i have to act like everything's fine." you muttered under your breath, ignoring the look of pity that flashed through her features.
"i heard.. about everything." she quietly spoke, "i didn't think things would escalate this fast or that your life would become hell this easily. y'know, i was actually jealous of you." she guilty admitted with a cheeky smile.
your mouth opened in shock and she bursted out laughing at your expression. "you were jealous of me?! wait- i'm fucking confused now." you turned your body to fully face her.
she grinned at how focused you were, "of coursee.." she trailed off. "looking back on this, it's pretty stupid now that i think about it, but i was jealous of your relationship with kenny."
