"Kiyoi," Hira said in a whisper, and only for a small second Hira stop talking, he grabbed Kiyoi's hand but Kiyoi pulled his hand back, making Hira pull his back towards himself too.

"Kiyoi, please let me explain.." But again Kiyoi didn't want to hear it, and so, he turned around and looked at Hira with a gaze that made Hira shiver, Kiyoi then turned away from Hira and left just like that but this time Hira wasn't stupid, he went after Kiyoi this time. "Kiyoi, please just wait," and just like that Kiyoi stopped not looking towards Hira, Hira caught up, and then Hira finally got to say, "Kiyoi, I may be stupid and weird and the shyest guy you know, I may be a stutter but only when I'm around you, I am so overprotective that I may go overboard about my protecting but I do what I do because I love you, Kiyoi, just you, only you."

This time Kiyoi turned around, finally looking up at Hira once again, but this time he saw Hira crying, tears streaming down his face as if it was all the tears he had been holding in. "Hira," Kiyoi started, obviously surprised by the way Hira said those words, and then watched Hira cry at the same time, but it was as if Kiyoi saw a new side of Hira he never had before, a side that made all his anger go away.

"Hira, stop crying."

Kiyoi's voice was gentle, his eyes softening as he took a step closer. Hira tried to compose himself, sniffing back his tears, but they just kept coming. He felt so exposed, so vulnerable in that moment, but the words had been said, and they hung in the air between them like a promise waiting to be accepted or broken.

"I've never seen you like this before, Hira," Kiyoi murmured, his voice crackling with emotion. "I had no idea you felt so strongly."

Hira swallowed hard, searching for the right words to say, but they just wouldn't come. He felt like a fool, standing there with tear-streaked cheeks and a heart laid bare. "I've always liked you," he managed to get out, his voice thick with emotion. "But I never knew how to tell you without screwing it all up."

Kiyoi reached out and wiped a tear from Hira's cheek with his thumb. His touch was warm, comforting, and it sent a jolt of electricity through Hira's body. "You haven't screwed anything up," Kiyoi said, his own eyes glistening. "I just... I didn't know how to deal with it, with us. I didn't want to hurt you."

Hira looked into Kiyoi's eyes, searching for any sign that his confession had made a difference. He saw the conflict within him, the doubt and the fear, but also the flicker of something else, something that gave him hope. "Kiyoi," Hira whispered, "I know I can be a lot to handle, but if you give me a chance, I swear I'll make it worth it."

For a moment, the world seemed to hold its breath. The wind that had been rustling the leaves in the trees above them stilled, and the only sound was the distant chirping of birds and the thud of their own hearts beating in their chests. Then, as if the universe had decided to lean in and listen, Kiyoi leaned closer and kissed Hira, tenderly, tentatively. It was a kiss that spoke of beginnings and of futures, of fear and hope all rolled into one.

Hira's heart soared as the kiss deepened, his arms wrapping around Kiyoi's waist as if he never wanted to let him go. They stood there, in the quiet of the night, the air charged with the electricity of their newfound connection. When they finally broke apart, both were smiling, their eyes shining with unshed tears and the excitement of what was to come.

"Let's go back," Kiyoi said, his voice a little shaky. "We have a lot to talk about."

They walked back to the house hand in hand, the tension of the evening dissipating with every step. The door creaked open under Hira's hand, and they slipped inside, leaving the drama of the night outside.

In the warmth of their room, with the soft glow of the lamp lighting their faces, they sat down on the bed. Hira felt his heart hammering in his chest as he looked into Kiyoi's eyes. He had never been so nervous, so alive. "I'm sorry," he started again, "for everything."
