** Zoey's point of view **

" So where's Connor taking you to?" Alice asked as she looked through her closet for something nice for me to wear. I decided I had nothing to wear an plus Connor told me to dress nice , because we can't go to this place looking like trash. " I don't know , he just said he wanted to take me some where. " I say as I laid back on Alice's bed I wondered If I should also do my make up an hair as well. " What about this dress? " Alice asked as she walked out with a beautiful white dress in her hand.

It wasn't trashy an it wasn't to much either I actually think it'll fit me the top of the dress is styled like a regular white T-shirt except the sleeves weren't very long. The bottom of the dress was loose an a tad bit poofy but not like Cinderella's dress. The dress would come at least 2 inches below my knees , I think the silver glitter on the top on the dress makes it look all the more beautiful. I slowly sat up only cause I was having trouble sitting up on my own " Its gorgeous how come iv never seen you wear this dress? " I asked " Girl I ain't about dresses , but this was my grandmas she use to love wearing it all the time before she passed away. " " Oh..."

Alice chuckled " Girl don't get all depressed on me now , plus dont worry about it my grandma wouldn't mind you wearing it. " I just nodded Alice handed me the dress so I took it from her I started to undress than slipped into the dress. " Fits perfectly " I say as I smoothed the dress down my body so that way there wasn't so many wrinkles. " Okay so now the real question is , What shoes would go with this? " " Got that covered as well " Alice walked back into her closet I heard her shuffling through some stuff than she came out with a pair of black heels. " These should do " Alice said as she handed me the heels I slipped into them. " Well what do you think? " I asked as I stood up spinning in a circle Alice smiled " Beautiful my love. "

" Wens he suppose to be here? " Alice asked as she plopped down on her bed. I looked down at my phone it read 6:25Pm " Mmm some where between 6:30-7Pm " Me an Alice both jumped when we heard the door bell ring " Speak of the devil " Alice said smirking we both got up an walked to the front door Alice opened the door to a handsome man in a black suit. " Wow , Connor you look amazing " I breathed out he even had his hair pushed back with a little bit of gel. He grinned at me " You don't look bad your self , are you ready? " Connor asked looking me up an down once more I smiled an nodded yes. " Bye Alice " Me an Connor both said at the same time.

" So where are we going an why do we have to be dressed up? " I asked I was really curious as to where Connor was taking me. " It's a surprise you'll love it " I sure hope so! Connor drove for about a good hour an half before we reached a big building that looked like it was recently built. " Um where are we? " I asked curiously as Connor parked the car he shut off the engine an turned an grinned at me. " Come on just get out of the car lets head in the line is long enough " so I did as told Connor wasn't kidding when he said the line was long. Not to mention not only were me & Connor dressed up but everybody else here was to.

23 minutes later...

" Hello 45$s each please " A man stated he also was wearing a black suit just as any other guy here was. " 45$s... To get into a building..? That's ridiculous " I say crossing my arms. " Maybe , but your about to watch some of the best ballet dancers world wide. " The man said Connor went a head an paid for both of us than we walked in. " Ballet..? How did you know I love ballet , I haven't done ballet in forever! " I say " Well let's just say a little birdy told me " Connor said as he held my hand than we took our seats in a huge auditorium.

" Hello my name is Susan ,thank you everyone for coming lady's an gentlemen you are about to watch some of the best ballet dancers in the world. Before we get started I'd like to define the true meaning of ballet. " A woman with a long red dress said she was standing on the stage speaking into a mic.

" The ballet La Sylphide, first performed in Paris in 1832, introduced the period of Romantic ballet. Marie Taglioni danced the part of the Sylphide, a supernatural creature who is loved and inadvertently destroyed by a mortal man.

Marie Taglioni for example was one of the most celebrated ballerinas of the romantic ballet, which was cultivated primarily at Her Majesty's Theatre in London, and at the Théâtre de l'Académie Royale de Musique of the Paris Opera Ballet.

Marie Taglioni (23 April 1804 - 22 April 1884) was a ballet dancer of the Romantic ballet era, a central figure in the history of European dance. She was one of the most celebrated ballerinas of the romantic ballet, which was cultivated primarily at Her Majesty's Theatre in London, and at the Théâtre de l'Académie Royale de Musique of the Paris Opera Ballet. She is credited with (though not confirmed) being the first ballerina to truly dance en pointe. "

As Susan went on talking defining the true definition of Ballet an the arts of it not to mention the years of practice it takes to learn , master Ballet. I took a glance over at Connor he seemed to be a tad interested as to what Susan had been explaining. " Well enough of me talking lets get this started " Susan said than walked off stage as female dancer came out. Her sky blue an white tutu was super super cute every move an dance she did she made it look effortlessly. All the same with the other dancers so effortlessly god I'm so jealous! After each ballet dancer got done dancing there routine the crowd went wild full of applause one of the hundred people including myself.

3 hours later..

Susan walked back on stage holding a mic in her hand " Ahh isn't ballet just beautiful but I'd say my favorite is ' Romantic ballet ' some of you must be wondering what is romantic ballet an some of you may already know.

Romantic Ballet..

So what is Romantic ballet?
The Romantic Period began in the early nineteenth century and reflected the romantic ideas of art and literature of that time. Following the Classical Period, ballet became a marriage of dynamic technique and dramatic storytelling. This was the birth of the story ballet. The Romantic Era was a time of fantasy, etherealism, supernaturalism and exoticism.

The stories of the time dealt with issues of good vs. evil, man vs. nature and society vs. the supernatural. Women became the superstars of the ballet with the introduction of pointework, a style of dancing on the tip of the toes which gave the illusion of floating.

With women being centerstage, men took the role of supporting the ballerina. Important ballerinas of this era include Marie Taglioni, Carlotta Grisi, Lucille Grahn and Fanny Ceritto. Popular ballets of the romantic period include La Sylphide, Giselle, and Coppelia." Susan explained , she sure knew her history about ballet she was a true fan of ballet.

" Susan said smiling I looked over to see Connor had fallen asleep for I don't know how long. I shook him awake " huh what? " Connor mumbled as he opened his eyes " The shows over babe lets go everyone's leaving , by the way thank you so much! This really does mean a lot. " I say as we both stood up I gave Connor a big hug. " No problem baby " Connor said as he pulled me closer to him.
