Chapter 31

** Zoey's point of view **

I quickly went home and took my dress off and slipped into a random pair of jeans an a tang top than grabbed Connors sweat shirt he'd left at my house. " Zoey! Have you even planned out what your gonna say or do ? " Sarah asked I looked up at Sarah confused. "What do you mean? I'm gonna see if we can.. I mean if i can do anything to get him out " " Well Zoey you can't just walk into the police department an be like ' Hey my boyfriend is here can I have him back ' " I frowned at her sarcasm she really annoyed me sometimes.

With out answering Sarah I grabbed my keys an walked out of my room " Zoey! Did you stop to think that maybe his parents should probably bail him out of jail. Bailing people out of jail isn't cheap you know " I turned to Sarah and said " I know I just have to see him make sure he's okay " " Fine but I'm coming with you " Sarah insisted. We walked out of my house an hopped into my car I was having trouble putting the keys in the ignition cause I was rushing. " Slow down Zoey will make it to the police department no need to rush "

When we finally made it to the police department immediately I waisted no time an took a sharp turn into the parking lot. " WOAH!!! Zoey damn your gonna fucking kill us slow down.. " I ignored Sarah an parked the car in an empty spot than shut it off. I got out slamming the car door just as Sarah fallowed it was pitch black out side I hated driving in the dark particularly when it comes to something serious like this. Me and Sarah both walked into the building to see both Jack & Maggie siting in the waiting room in other words Connors parents. I walked straight up to they " Hey have you guys heard anything on Connor " Maggie looked up at me with a weak smile an sighed " Yeah the police won't let anyone see him for another 45 minutes. He's being questioned at the moment " Maggie said.

" What about the bail how much is that? " Sarah asked " They haven't said yet " Jack replied back.

1 hour later...
Sarah waited in the waiting room while me , Connors parents went back to see him. I felt a little creeped out with all these police officers around never have I been around so many cops. " He's waiting in this room you may go in " One of the officers said we all 3 shook our heads and walked in. Connor was siting in the chair with his head in his hands when he heard us walk in he looked up I was horrified at the site of Connors face him and Cole must have really gotten into it. " Oh my god baby!" I ran over to Connor throwing my hands around his neck he flinched I must have hit some part of his face that was bruised. I quickly let go I started sobbing at the site of his face his mom cried a little with me. " Oh sweetheart , what did you do to get your self into? " Maggie asked as she gave Connor a kiss on his for-head. Connor sighed " I'm sorry mom it was just this stupid kid I got into it with he had pissed me off uh.. made me mad " Maggie shook her head than took a seat next to him.

I took a seat next to Connor as well an grabbed his hands & held them in my lap I felt so bad for him. " Baby.. " Connor started as he stared into my eyes " Im so sorry I wanted to be there tonight at the dance with you " I gave him a weak smile " Babe that's not what matters right now , what matters is you feeling better " I say letting a tear fall down from my eye. He wiped away my tear from my cheek with his thumb " Don't cry I'm fine " Connor whispered emotionally my heart felt heavy. " I just love you , I don't want anything bad to happen to you " I say " I love you to Zoey. "

" Well Son your lucky this time but I wouldn't press your luck " Jack said giving Connor a stern look of disappointment. " Come on sweetheart lets get you home " Maggie said.
When we walked out to the waiting room Sarah walked straight to me " Well how is everything ? " " He's fine " I say " Uh Sarah do you think you could drive my car back home I think I'm gonna go home with Connor " Sarah shook her head yes than gave me a hug " Everything will be okay " Sarah whispered into my ear.

** Connors point of view **

The whole ride home I held Zoey in my arms I could tell she was truly worried about me. I hated seeing her sob the way she did I want her to know no matter what happens to me there's no way she could ever lose me. I looked down to see Zoey had fallen asleep in my arms she was cuddled up next to me in the back seat with her head on my chest snoozing away. I smiled she looked so adorable I feel kinda guilty for causing her to worry so much to think the worst could have happened.

When we got to my house I opened my side of the door before getting out I observed Zoey one last time before waking her up I couldn't get over how cute she looked. " Zoey.. Zoey were here " she groaned lifting her head up off my shoulder she frowned when she realized she had drooled on my chest I chuckled. " Gross " She whispered as she wiped her mouth " Come on babe lets get inside " I say as we both got out of the car she fallowed me inside and into my room. I slipped off my shirt considering it had stained blood on it than took off my jeans. " Connor at least let me clean up your face those cuts can get infected " I sighed " babe I'm fine really " She frowned crossing her arms I chuckled " Fine you win " She strutted off into my bathroom grabbing the emergency kit I on the other hand took a seat on my bed. I was so tired an soar all I wanted to do was lay in bed an fall asleep with Zoey in my arms.

" I'm back " Zoey said as she walked towards me with the emergency kit " Clean away " I say she smiled " This might burn a little but I have to put some alcohol on those cuts " " Go a head I'm sure it won't burn to bad " I say. She pulled out a cotton swab than poured a tad bit of alcohol on it than started dabbing my face with gently cleaning the cuts. " Sooo.. Can I ask what started all this ? " Zoey asked I flinched at that question i clenched my fist I don't know why Zoey didn't tell me Cole.. fucked her unconsciously.

" Zoey how come you didn't tell me? " Zoeys face looked kinda flushed " Tell you what? " I frowned " That Cole had sex with you unknowingly " I said like it was obvious. " Well I was afraid you wouldn't believe me " I sighed Rolling my shoulders back they felt kinda tense. " Baby don't ever feel like you don't have my trust , you were drunk an that worthless bastard took advantage of you " I say as Zoey put some bandages on some of the cuts on my face. " Lets go to bed I'm exhausted " Zoey said as she cleaned up all the trash " Sounds like a good idea " I laid back in bed an waited for Zoey to get in bed with me.

She got in bed with me and I wrapped my arms around her holding her as close to my as possible. " love you Connor " " I love you to baby "
